I will give this place a 0 if it would count. Beware Enter at your own Risk, Horrible Management! I lived a Nightmare customer Service Experience! The manager Ryan Clark falsely imprisoned me, He screamed at employees and patrons to call the police. Falsely accusing me of a charge to have me arrested and criminally trespassed. This manager is sinister as he attempted to create a crime scene! Why? Because of my first amendment right to freedom of speech- and give a complaint after waiting 1 hour. He will not publicly accommodate female working professionals. I was traveling alone in town on business- Arriving at the Cheesecake Factory Lenox Mall location approximately 6:30 PM for dinner. After waiting 1 hour for an order, I shared a complaint with manager Ryan Clark. At this point he became aggravated and unreasonable. I became increasingly uncomfortable. At this point I ask for my bill for an appetizer he refused to comp, so I could leave the restaurant. Ryan did not return with bill. After speaking with my server about requested bill she reports being unable to speak with Ryan “about my bill” without retaliation. I approached Ryan in the restaurant and requested my bill once again to leave a hostile and toxic environment and he screamed aloud to patrons and employees, to call the police! For reasons unknown to myself and everyone present this manager attempts to have me falsely charged. I approached the hostess who seated me asking for general management or speak with someone in corporate. Ryan follows and screams at the hostess “don’t talk to her, don’t give her any information, don’t help her.” They refused to provide me with general management name and contact information. The Police arrived as I stood awaiting for a response from someone. Surprisingly, I was approached by Ashley Blewett- Head Chef of Grand Lux Café. She informed me that my server had in fact notified her of Ryan’s offensive actions and she was asked to come speak with me. Ashley insisted Ryan’s actions to call the police was all wrong! and the cops should have never been called. I never even had a Meal! Ashley de-escalated this guy and sought to find a solution for me to leave the restaurant. Finally, Ashley received my appetizer bill from manager Ryan Clark. However, this did not stop officers from harassing me in attempts to arrest and criminally trespass me at Ryan Clarks request. Ashley stepped in again to stop officer’s harassment, arrest, and criminal trespass from the Cheesecake Factory. Responding Officer then reprimanded Ashley Blewett for her effort to de-escalate and to deter their collective efforts to further detain, criminally arrest & Trespass (or do who knows what else) because Manager Ryan Clark was in Fact the manager on Duty. I was not released to leave the restaurant until 8:10 pm with No Meal! Ryan Clark is using his authority to abuse, belittle, intimidate, and humiliate cheesecake factory employees and patrons. He is a liability to the Cheesecake Factory and is unreasonable in his actions. This manager on duty creates and maintains a hostile and toxic environment for patrons and employees. Obviously, I was caught in the crossfire of complete restaurant chaos. Upon return to my hotel I called 911 to report manager Ryan Clark falsely imprisoning me. Atlanta Police department- Zone two precinct- Evening Supervisor- Sergeant Frazier responded to my grievance & complaint. He contacted manager Ryan Clark to request and obtain Cheesecake Factory General Manger (GM) name and contact information. It was discovered general management Melles Amedie was away on vacation for the week. Sergeant Frazier states that manager Ryan Clark is incompetent in customer service and should lose his position at the Cheesecake Factory. He goes on to state “My officers should have never been called into the restaurant to arrest or criminally trespass you.” In addition, I spoke with Lieutenant Grigsby and he did some further research on Cheesecake factory corporate office contacts and insist I follow up with complaints to corporate office.

The Cheese Cake Factory in Bayshore New York at The Westfield South Shore mall had so many people lined up congested in the door ways and entrance. Totally violating any COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Very Dangerous. Staff don’t exercise social distance. They are running around all over the place. There was no way to get back out the door. We had to ask for another way out. Hopefully the county is checking to make sure social distancing us being practiced. Everyone should not be allowed to stand in the inside vestibule blocking entrance and exit.

If I could give them no stars I would! I went to the Novi location @ 12 Oaks Mall for the first time for a Birthday dinner. What was suppose to be a 30 minute wait turned into 2 hours. The service started off horrible we had to request another waiter. They kept forgetting to bring everything even food that we ordered. Four people in our party never received their order. Dishes and silverware were nasty and I think Us informing her of that made the waitress upset. And we had to keep requesting the bill because at that point everyone was upset and just ready to go.

Visited the Sawgrass Mills branch and was utterly disappointed after finding a cockroach crawling on the wall, then dropped on the table inches from our plates, WHILE celebrating my daughter's birthday! The part that hurt the most was when the waitress (who was so super helpful) went and got the manager on duty. She came over, and the look on her face clearly said several things: 1. She doubted the authenticity of our discovery even after my older daughter wouldn't shut up about seeing the cockroach crawling on the wall. 2. Even with our bill at the time of the discovery was over $130, she subtly implied that we may not have been accurate in our discovery, and may be trying to get a free meal. After the awkward set of questions she subjected me to in front of my 2 children, she then exclaimed "I am sorry, but other than changing your seat, there's really nothing else we can do".....then she proceeded to ask the question; "What would you like us to do?" At this point, I was thoroughly embarrassed, and politely asked to get the rest of our food to go. When we got the bill, the waitress said she (the Manager) had comped the 3 slices of cheesecake I had ordered; to which I adamantly refused. My waitress had however already calculated the final bill, so it was done. There are many questions floating in my mind after this experience, and it took me a few weeks to write this review, as the incident took place on 9/10/2020 at around 5pm. I wonder if the manager's response would have been the same if our party was Caucasian? I wonder if they would have been subject to the same line of questioning and accusatory tone we were subject to? I wonder if even after having solid proof that there was a cockroach crawling on our wall then fell to our table, inches away from our food, she would still have a look of disbelief? All we wanted to do was eat the Molto flatbread pizza, eat some Cheesecake, and celebrate my kid's birthday! We instead were served a haughty dish of accusation and humiliation! Thank you guys, really, thanks!
