Burnt Food. Our chicken was burnt on one side and…
Our chicken was burnt on one side and they put that side down facing the plate so we wouldn't see it. It was very dry and the edges were hard. They changed the fried cheese appetizer to 4 cheese sticks and it used to be a little basket filled with fried cheese chunks that were delicious. The ones we got were only half filled with cheese and the rest was just a crunchy shell. They were horrible. So while we waited for our non burnt chicken our potatos and veggies were cold. THEN they charged us $46 for the chicken. We only had one chicken meal so they tried to double charge us for the burnt one we sent back. It was $21.95 on the menu. I have no idea of how they do their math. We won't be going back. People work very hard for their money and a decent meal should be provided. I took a piece of cheese cake home for my hubby and he asked me if I ate half of it because it was so small! We got the same flavor of cheesecake to eat at our table and that was a good size. It was much bigger than the one I took home.

Took my wife there the day after Valentine’s Day so we wouldn’t have to deal with crowd on the 14th. Made reservations like two days before. Arrived like 30 minutes early, many tables empty, not very crowded but didn’t seat us until almost like 6:13 scheduled for 6:15. Not really a big deal. Got seated, my wife orders a raspberry lemon drop, within minutes our waitress says they are out or can’t make it, but was on the menu. I ordered coffee cold brew, said they didn’t have a certain cream to put in it. Ok… that wasn’t a real big deal… ordered Tex max rolls, came out as ordered and were good. Delivered on time … perfect I ordered the Louisiana chicken, they came back and said they didn’t have that, but it was on the menu, so both my wife and I ordered the chicken Madeira with mashed potatoes. Both came out and the food was not even Luke warm. Totally lost my appetite. We took a couple of bites, realized it wasn’t warm or hot like it should be, they took back and in about 5 minutes the manager brought our plates back, the actual plate was hot but the food still wasn’t hot. We took another 1-2 bites and was just concerned the chicken wasn’t cooked. The server was great. We got our ticket and they didn’t charge us for the entries which is the right thing to do and we didn’t have to ask either which was great but it ruined the evening that it was meant to be…. Really?

Seated an hour late with no apology
Last night we had reservations for a birthday dinner at this Cheesecake Factory and we were seated an hour late. There were no apologies given and honestly, they looked annoyed when we checked in a few times. After leaving a review on Yelp a corporate person apologized this morning and asked us to give them a second chance with a cut and pasted response - This tells you all you need to know about the restaurant - They really just don't care at all about the inconvenience they cause and know the problems exist but won't do anything to solve them.
I'd suggest just not trusting them with important celebrations if you can avoid it - CF just isn't worth the aggravation.

Aggressive and egotistical manager at Marina Del Rey location
We spend $600 to $1,000 per month at this Cheesecake Factory between family & business visits or door dash delivery.
Everything is always been good here, an especially good cheesecake factory branch, until today.
Today was my 1 year old's birthday.
We went online and tried to make a reservation for five adults and three children. On yelp, it did not let me do more than six people reservations at once. It did not tell me in any way that to make an 8 person reservation (even though one was one year old) we had to call. So I selected a 6 people reservation, and in the notes I wrote that we're going to be five adults and three children. The reservation was for 3:30 PM.
When we arrived there at 3:30 PM, we were confronted by one of the worst restaurant managers I have ever encountered. He was passive aggressive, rude, demeaning, entitled, Egotistical , and his name was Michael my friend and I felt that he wanted to even get aggressive with us. It felt like he wanted to mess with us on purpose. Maybe it was our accents maybe he didn't like our race I don't know he told us we have to wait 30 minutes. (Mind you we have three children, hungry, children, waiting.)
After waiting a whole hour, I confronted him and asked him how he makes children wait for an hour, while in front of us he let in large parties with no wait.
This POS had it out for us, he purposely wanted us to wait. After I confronted him, he was saying we should leave.
Then we had a yelling match where I told him to go F himself. And he told us and the children to not come back.
I used to be the GM of a few restaurants in Beverly Hills, no respectable institution will have such a person representing it to their clients. I would fire this horrible employee in a second. There is no place
For employee ego trips in respectable restaurants.
I cannot imagine under what circumstance anyone would hire such a low life as a manager. Michael created a scene in the middle of the restaurant for his bias and ego. We left and went to another restaurant.
As long as this thing still works at this branch, we will never come here again. And we're going to make sure that every review outlet knows exactly how we were treated by this lowlife human being.

service were abysmal and reflected failure in training, quality assurance, and management.
What an awful experience we had at Cheesecake Factory (Sugar Land, TX). Both the food and the service were abysmal and reflected failure in training, quality assurance, and management.
We had a party of eight. Service was slow but we expected it. Our waitress was stressed but smiling and doing the best she could. When the appetizers came out, we had no utensils or napkins; and were still waiting for the wine and bread. We eventually got napkins (small cocktail napkins). We laughed, and the waitress explained that their cloth napkin supplier did not show up that day. No worries; it was funny but not a big deal.
My chicken marsala was served cold (the plate was hot, but the food was barely warm). The waitress took it back to reheat. 20 minutes later (after everyone was half done; I alerted the waitress) my dish eventually came back, but this time the chicken was missing (no chicken, just pasta). We laughed, and the waitress took the dish back and returned 5 minutes later with the missing chicken. Now the dish was inedible, both chicken and pasta were dry as a “cracker.” I returned the dish and forfeited my dinner.
Now, let's talk about the “Roadside Burger Sliders” which we love and have always ordered for the past 10 years. Much to our astonishment this time, the burger was essentially a dry meat on a dry bun; no pickles, onion or sauce of any kind. (Here’s the menu description, “... sliders are loaded with pickles, ketchup, and grilled onions….”) Honestly, we were served a set of four dry beef patties on dry buns with two pickles on the side. We laughed and told the waitress. She apologized and offered us a plate of pickles, lettuce and cheese on the side. We laughed.
I spoke to the manager to inform him of the situation. He was apologetic but appeared rather resigned and indifferent. He comped us with a free cheesecake. We laughed.
Then we were handed a bill that included an automatic 18% tip on our tap. We told the waitress that, under the circumstances, the automatic tip was an insult to injury. She promptly removed the automatic tip. In the end, I thanked the waitress for serving us and reassured her that the poor service we received was a management issue and that she did her job superbly.
Cheesecake Factory, with a noble company vision statement, “...dedicated to the uncompromising quality of our food, service, people and profit, while taking exceptional care of our guests and staff….”, have perhaps lost its site.
As for me and my family, we will certainly consider an alternative place for our dining experience.

Long wait/ rude at the desk
We arrived and were told it would be an hour wait. After about 30 mins I checked on our spot. The girl at the desk said 40 mins. When my husband said he was told an hour. After 40 mins I went and asked again and the guy at the desk said we would be waiting the full time of an hour to an hour and 30 mins which was not what we were told. Also waiting was not the issue. The issue was that time continued to be added to our wait and no one said anything.

They allow you to order take out but no one answers the phone when you arrive to bring you your food.
I arrived 5 minutes before it was time to pick up my food. I called tirelessly for 30 minutes and no one ever answered! It’s easy to say why didn’t I just go into the store to grab my food but I’m handicapped and if I would’ve known that they would not have answered I would have not ordered to begin with. Then someone finally answered the phone and I placed on for 10 minutes before someone finally picked up and hung up. When I finally gave up, I just wanted to be refunded but I still couldn’t get someone on to do that for me. I just didn’t want them to think that I placed my order and failed to pick it up. This was the absolute worst experience that I have had at any of their establishments. It’s ok to be busy however make it easier for the company and the consumer by NOT allowing us to order curbside if no one will be available to bring out the food.
