The Cabinet Spot, IncReviews of thecabinetspot.com

As a GC and designer (for our company Lang Construction) we have many different vendors that we use for our materials based on price point and lead times. Our name is attached to everything, so we are careful what vendors we use. During this pandemic we got the chance to use The Cabinet Spot as a new vendor and they been better than most. The inset cabinets were quick ship and although I painted them black (sadly they only come in 3 colors) they arrived quickly. They are a little bit warped but we were able to fix that with some finished carpentry. Otherwise, great quality. The euro style cabinets that I wanted were seriously delayed so I settled with the in stock walnut. They did not disappoint!!! A peninsula panel came damaged and they shipped a replacement ASAP. These require more of an IKEA (but higher quality) assembly skill set but still are really nice cabinets. Over all, Raffi and The Cabinet Spot has my business for the when I have customers in this budget and for these styles and look forward to using them in the future!

The cabinet is a great quality product. Didn’t give 5 stars because the assembly instructions could be better. If you aren’t “handy” you might have trouble.

We installed the honey shaker cabinets because we like the look of natural wood best. Ok that being said the employees of the c. spot were very nice to talk with. Now for the cabinets we looked and purchased different cabinets from other rta companies for our bathrooms, after harvey flooded our home, and chose the c spot for our kitchen. They are made of a fair quality material for being sourced overseas but there are problems, first the door center panels are not plywood, but made of some kind of mdf or other type of man made card board product. The rest of the door is wood and the boxes are plywood, the cam locks are weak and will break easy if you do not make sure the holes they go in are clean, some of the screws are in line with the cam locks and will break them when they are screwed in and there are no extra parts. that being said after they are put together and hung they look pretty good and should last for some years to come. As for the c spot website it has quite a bit of inaccurate information about there cabinets, what they are made of and the video is completely wrong as far as construction material. So over all the cabinets are of a fair quality but far from custom cabinets.

This a very nice cabinet. It goes together easy, with a few adjustments. Overall good value. If you are considering RTA cabinets, this is a good company.

I've put together many types of RTA cabinets (inset) in the past and the only reason that I didn't give a 5/5 was the overall quality of the assembly of these ones. A bit like an IKEA cabinet, they go together with large screws instead of something like a rabbet joint with wood glue. However, the cabinet looks good and the price was far superior to other places, so I am willing to accept that. Also, I had to contact them about a replacement drawer and the customer service was excellent. Always a quick e-mail back, asked for pictures of the original drawer that was not working, and then mailed me out a replacement quickly which fixed the issue. Very good experience though, and like I said, was just because there are better ways for cabinets to go together, but it's probably just me being picky. Thanks a lot for the cabinet!

People were great, product as expected, but website for ordering was very glitchy, requiring multiple tries before finishing order.

Ordered some cabinets. I had them set to be picked up at the shop in Burbank. The process could not have been easier. When I got them home I unbox them to find beautiful all Wood Construction. The only downside to these cabinets, which isn't really reflective of the quality, is that some of the panels were slightly warped requiring a little bit of manipulation to get them to work. Outside of that these are by far the best value cabinets that I've ever come across. I can't wait to order more when I redo my bathroom.

Frustrated over the fact that no assembly instructions provided. Several spots on the interior panels in visible locations had significant scratches in finish. Quality of studs on cam locks could be better and we were short 2 brackets for shelving. Overall pleased with plywood box cabinets and finished look of inset cabinets face frames. Also pleased with alignment and adjustability of door hinges. Met overall expectations for finished project except for missing parts.
