Hi Deb! Thanks for sharing your experience. We're sorry you did not like the smell of the Patchouli Mud soap. It's made using only pure Patchouli essential oil and dead sea mud. Due to the natural ingredients and because we don't use chemical additives to enhance the scent, you're olfactory profile is likely picking up more of the mud than the essential oil. We will be reaching out to you via email and offering you a different soap bar!
