Thank you for your feedback! Our Patchouli bar is made with essential oil and no added fragrance, so it has a more natural, earthy scent that’s a bit lighter than synthetic versions. We truly appreciate you giving it a try and value your input as we continue to grow.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! We are sorry to hear that you felt the bars were too small for the price. We include an at scale photo on the carousel images of each product page so customers can get a feel for the size. To give some industry examples, our bars are 3.5 oz for $5.95 (even cheaper if you buy a 3 pack or subscription!) which is .58 an ounce. Competitive brands sell their 5 oz bar for $7 on average which is .71 an ounce. So with the math you're actually getting a better value! We also offer free shipping on orders over $25 and with consistent daily use and proper drying care, our bars will last about 6 weeks. Here are some tips for increased longevity of Handmade Soaps: Store unused soap bars in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location. Handmade soap is high in natural glycerin and vegetable oils; non-ventilated storage may result in a stale soap bar. We recommend the use of a bath glove, loofah, or wash cloth to extend the life of your soap bar. Rub your soap bar back and forth against your wet bath glove, loofah, or wash cloth to achieve lather. Keep your soap bar in a well-drained dish soap and away from water stream. Let your soap air dry thoroughly between uses to extend its lifespan. We hope you will consider trying us again!

Because we use pure essential oils, our soaps will not smell as strongly as others using synthetic fragrances that contain additives to enhance the scent.
