Home Meridian theater seats
I purchased 2 rows of 4 Home Meridian theater chairs and am quite satisfied with the both the quality and the experience with Theaterseatstore.com. Such a large purchase over the Internet sight unseen was a challenge for me, as returning such a shipment would be difficult at best. But the absence of local stores with home theater seating in stock made it necessary to go the online route. The Home Meridian seats are just as the sales person described, and the white glove installation was a pleasant experience. If you are considering these seats, be aware that the backs are high, which is what I wanted and makes them quite comfortable for big and small bodies. However, if your theater has multiple rows of seats and is not elevated at least 2 steps per level, the view of the screen can be blocked when the seats in front are in the full upright position. These seats are quite wide as well, providing a great experience as long as you have the room width and don't need more seats in each row, which may be possible with a smaller style seat. Also worth noting is that each chair has 2 power cords as the LED's lighting for the control and cup holders is on it's own supply cord, so you will most likely need power strips to accommodate the many cords. It seems like a simple design change would allow a single cord per chair as well as daisy chaining the row into a single cord, but this is only a minor inconvenience. The only thing I would seriously like to see on these seats, other than a massage option, is the ability to dim or disable the blue LED lights on the controls, as they are distracting in a dark theater. I would be quite comfortable purchasing additional Home Meridian seats from this company and recommending them to others.
