Ordered Octane Continental LHR in Black. The Italian Leather is thin, cheap and doesn't even smell as good as the leather in my Honda. The sides are not leather in case you did not know. One seat was damaged both back & bottom and they are stalling on replacement. The so-called white glove service was a 3rd party who delivers lots of things & had never delivered seating before. I was their 1st for seating. They unprofessionally got them to the door, very sloppy and ripped open the boxes so fast, had me sign a laptop and did not provide a copy. They were in a hurry and left quickly. As I had time to inspect the black seats closer, I found a damaged deep impression dent in one seat. Another had wires not connected from factory and the lights did not work in the Octane. I had to flip the seat over to find the wires to connect what their seasoned staff forgot. I'm only 5'7" and the head rest hits my shoulders and it seems to low, like for a 4'11" to 5ft. person. The black tray tables were a cheap rubber, just cheap feeling garbage that had strange scuffs and marks on them. They want to charge me to substitute for Silver Aluminum to swap em out. They are having quality control issues in the mahogany wood manufacturing so I couldn't order those. The recline controls are awkward inside the seat and not on the arm rest. Now, they're stalling replacement of a damaged seat. Go with Palliser from a different independent dealer and get the upgraded leather for the real deal, feel and smell of genuine quality Leather. What a let down from such a large Company on the internet. I hope their CEO reads this before I find his or her email. I offered their customer service Rep. Lori the opportunity to rectify customer satisfaction with halfhearted, unenthusiastic effort and wants to nickel/dime me for swapping the cheap tray tables after spending close to $4,000. The sales rep was great, not her fault. It was mine for ordering something you couldn’t try because no showrooms in Texas have these seats/selections as demos. Heck, if they let me, I'll drive these cheap seats back to their warehouse in a U-Haul and buy the Palliser from them, with 3000 grain all leather of course. Gee Whiz, I know so many friends with Theater Rooms that I could have referred this Company too, I work for a large employer with an internal website to share referral ideas, but they haven't earned the referrals as of yet! Horrible customer service. Waited six months when promised 10 to 12 weeks. Was okay with that due to shipping problems from China. that was possibly beyond there control. I was not not okay with verbal promises that they would take care of missing and damaged seating. They refused to guarantee in to replace or repair in writing. The shipping company Seko Logistics was great and went out of their way to advise me of problems with the shipment they received. They called and sent me pictures of 1 box severely damaged and another that was difficult to determine the extent of the damage. I requested on at least three occasions with theater seat store to cancel the delivery until we could confirm the extent of damage and missing chair. Theater seat store refused to cancel delivery and continued to tell me nothing was missing. I refused the chairs when the delivery was made due to the damage and missing chair. After numerous attempts to work out an amicable solution they still would not guarantee in writing that they would take care of problems and were insistent that the order was complete. These were custom made curved seating and needed to be joined as a group. If they had to order more seats to replace those that were damaged. There is a concern that dye lots and leather may not be the same to match the existing seats. These seats are made in China. Anyway they would not guarantee that either. To ad insult to injury, I gave them a 50% deposit six months earlier. I found out they kept my credit card on file for that entire time without my permission. They never notified me that they billed my credit for the balance almost thirty days before they seats were shipped or delivery. I cant believe this is the way this company does business. Not a happy camper!

I placed an $8000 8 seat order on feb 11 2021. At the time of order , slick salesman promised everything is in stock but one seat which is 30 days out. ok i got the delivery 2/3 weeks later and two seats other than the one i know about is missing. It apparently went somewhere else and two weeks later it showed up( stike #1). In the meantime, one of the seat completely stop working and to this day may 1st i have not got parts to repair it myself after they send the wrong part a month or so ago( strike #2). Then the reading light is made too big and won't fit into the accessory hole in the arm (strike #3). So here we are in may, 3 months after i paid for it. I got one chair still missing, one chair that doesn't work at all, reading lights that i have to buy a metal grinder to file it down so it would fit in the arm. What do you think I should do, be happy about it? oh, and the center tray from the 3 piece sofa fell out and i have to glue it back myself ( strike #4). WOW ! this is quality product with real customer support with parts to back it up. Bought another set up a few years back elsewhere and nothing like this happened, just pay, deliver and watch movie. The commission salesman are just there to close the deal. Do not believe them. I suggest if you feel you have to buy from them, be very firm, the minute they don't deliver, cancel your card charge. oh here is a good one, today they advertise on their site the octane flex HR in black leather is in stock for quick ship. Either they are lying or they need cash flow so bad they ignoring back orders to get new orders. That is usually a bad sign.

Good service until after delivery. Horrible customer service after delivery. Initially had a tray table that was slanted. The store hired a general contractor for the repair (under warranty) who just took a hammer and pounded the tray table until it was somewhat aligned (and he refused to work at a home with just my wife there since women weren't capable of understand the technical issues of the repair). And, since then we've had a broken switch in the chair which we reported over 3 months ago and still don't have the part. Avoid this company at all costs unless you are sure of receiving a perfect, 100% satisfied product with no possibility of future issues.

Ordered sofa with white glove delivery. Sofa ships with hardwood floor pads not installed. The white glove guys did not install them and destroyed a brand new floor causing an estimated $1,000 damage. TheatreSeatStore sold the white glove service but apparently does not feel any responsibility. now I have chairs I can't use and a floor that is destroyed. Better to do business with someone who cares!

These guys are the worst. Constant delays, my order is already 3 months late, they never call or update. If I had known I would have ordered from someone else.

We made a custom order November 2020. Still have not received our couches!!!! There has been no communication on their end. I call/chat online every few weeks myself to get updates.. I get a different story every time. They will not allow me to cancel order because it was a custom order. We already paid 50% upfront! Last chat today we were only offered $200 off for the inconvenience.

Do not order from this website. After ordering and paying half up front, we were assured that the order would be delivered at 12 weeks out, max. The order still has not arrived almost 4.5 months later. I see other people on here were offered a heads up on shipping and the ability to cancel their orders for refunds - we were never given that opportunity. Without any warning, the shipment showed up at our house, but since the driver was alone, he told us he couldnt deliver the order and left, even though we paid for white glove service. We have no idea when he's coming back and the only response I can get from customer service is "oh, well our shipping company doesn't provide tracking updates. Dont worry I'm sure it's fine =)" Just find a store and get a chair locally - dont go through this company, it's not worth it.
