Great place only issue is the building is getting busy they need more staff. Always a line at the front desk because only 1 doorman. Supposed to be a non smoking property and it isn’t being enforced sufficiently. Lots of very young people feels more like a dorm than a luxury upscale nyc building.

I really like the building I live in. It is very well managed. The common areas are well kept and clean. The building staff is helpful and courteous. All in all I think it is a great place to live.

Staff are very friendly, systems are modern, just come issues with certain amenities so as the grills being broken.

We love the building. Everyone working for the Max is so nice and friendly! The doormen, the porters, all the maintenance guys- everyone is great. With that being said, I feel that this building is a dormitory. I very much do not want to live in a dormitory. I did that. 20 years ago. It seems that hundreds of international college and college aged students live in this building. We work VERY hard to live at 606 West 57th Street and when we come home to trash in the hallways, beer cans, trash, food scraps (banana peels) out front, and people in the lobby with their bare feet on the furniture- it is very frustrating and I can only imagine how frustrating it is for the doormen and porters. While we understand that anyone can live in this building if meeting all financial requirements - I think there should be some kind of disclaimer that this is NOT a dormitory. It is also possible that there is a large language barrier happening and that some of the residents dont know where to put their trash or how to throw it out as per building instructions. Thank you for reading our comments and we hope this helps you. Thanks so much, Renters at 606 West 57th Street

The common areas get really hot when the weather gets warmer. I suppose this will be addressed for the summer. I just noticed it last week, when the temperatures reached the 80s.

We LOVE our apartment. LOVE IT! We've had interactions with the doormen and Jack mainly and all have been incredibly nice but there have been some moments along the way that have made our experience with the rest of the building a bit frustrating. Getting packages can be a pain. Often, during regular hours, the door is closed. Last night, I was told to come back in 15 minutes to get my laundry (because the doorman was busy sorting mail) the same laundry that I couldn't get the night before because the keys were locked in the package room. Maintenance request should require more follow up and more detail of what was done in the apartment regarding the requests. If someone is responding to a request it would be nice if a note was left of work done or that someone was there working on the request. We'll often get a "CLOSED" email but no explanation of what was done. Also, those responding to maintenance request should be required to wear booties over their shoes. Thanks!

The location is good, views and apartments are really nice. Wish the shuttle would run longer or even 24 hours.

I've lived at 33 Bond St for about a month now and so far, the staff has been great - friendly and helpful. They helped me put up black out shades and is even storing the old shades. My maintenance requests have all been answered in a timely manner. My only complaint is that I have a next door neighbor who has a loud barking dog - the dog barks nonstop when the owner comes home or doesn't come home on weekend mornings. I've emailed the building manager and complained to the front desk. I've been informed that they issued a letter to the neighbor but when I followed up to see if it's done - no response. I think it's important that the building takes responsibility on tenants who are a nuisance and disrespectful to others.
