Everything is good for me, but the agent (who is co-working with the leasing manager) was rude to me when I visited the leasing office in order to further discuss about APTs. She seemed to be annoying because of my many questions and language barrier. Anyways, she was ill-mannered in speaking and behaving that I have never experienced in my life before. I am still feel bad about that. Except the experience, this APT is quite good.

Love the building, but we applied for an apartment on the 22 floor and were told that we got it. But at the last minute it was switched to the 9th floor which was kind of a low move.

NOT a luxury building but the doormen/woman and super are great and very responsive. The leasing agents will not be forthcoming about renovations and noise issues--Trust me on this one... I moved in and had to have the ac replaced and then the radiator--it was 80 in my apartment and I had to stay in a hotel because it took almost a week to replace the radiatore parts but I wasn't reimbursed for the hotel. And now my refrigerator is leaking water inside. It's neverending here... The walls have been repainted again and again leaving thick layers of paint and even the renovated bathroom was not done that well. They left exposed tile molding instead of finishing it off. It looks terrible. The closets are from the the 60ies and squeak so loudly when you open them-I can hear the neighbor's everytime they open them. They replaced the windows with really nice new ones but left the plastic covering on to protect from debris from surface renovations so you can't even look out your windows and get a clear view. This is not a luxury building despite what the sign outside says. I would look elsewhere if at all possible.

Suffering from construction noise very early in the morning before 7 A.M. and sometimes even after 12:00 A.M. on the upper floor. One Resident on 2 rd floor has parties very often after 10 P.M. until around 1 A.M. at their balcony. The noise is way too loud since their balcony is outside of their building. They put tables and chairs outside which seems like they will continue having those parties later on. I don't know why this is allowed here. I NEVER get this horrible experience before when I was in other apartments. The apartment is pretty awesome though. The staff here are pretty nice.

The staff is friendly and amenities are good. Now the apartment was in decent shape with some minor problems (clogged sink, leaking door...) The worst is that I took a very small apartment which has a pretty good personal terrace which was not accessible due to construction work at the time of visit. I asked about it and said they "only" had to redo the facade (bricks basically). No big deal, I work in the building facade business and I know that it can't take so much time (5 months at max, especially that they start from top and I'm 3/4 up the building). 2 weeks after I move in I receive an email saying that they changed the contractor and that they would destroy all the facade plus terraces (concrete curbs, docking, floor etc. And would take over a year to finish!! Now with a 13 month lease I have to keep my blinds shut 6 days a week and can't access the terrace. I feel that I was not told the whole story and that I'm paying an extra in the end to get only inconvenience....

1. the shuttles run not frequently enough, especially during 5 p.m. -8 p.m. When i go out from subway, i have to wait a long time for the shuttle coming. 2. There are certain weired noise from pipe under wall in my bedroom.

I love front desk men, maintenance folks and behind the scene janitorial staff. But for the price we pay I wish I didn't have to go through what I did this weekend. I've been complaining about heater, but the real culprit were windows. I didn't know this until I taped plastic sheet to cover the windows. After, I was shock to see the huge bubble growing! When I reported this maintenance, they told me that they can seal the windows. Seal meaning crumbled paper towers. Lol Now my windows have white paper towers around them, not an interior decorating idea I wanted. It'd embarrassing to have guests come over and remark now. And I'm sure they'll ask me how much the rent is. Sorry for writing a book, I wanted to explain properly. Please, the current fix is not acceptable. I do not want to spend money to get drapes and for installations. I need help to get through the NYC winter. Did I mention, I moved from Hawaii?

Our building (Two Gold Street), is great, but there are a some fixes that need to be made. The wifi in the lounges never works, making it hard to use the lounges as a work space. Also, the laundry should not cost extra.
