Suggested flying to Singapore from Australia to get a refund
Shocking customer service. After having a second pair of Teva Hurricanes fall apart with the straps coming undone at the heel, I have contacted customer service for Teva Australia 3 times. I bought my second pair when passing through Singapore Airport, and have been told that the way for me to get a replacement on my shoes would be to fly back to Singapore Airport to the original shop I purchased them in. Flying from Australia to Singpore to replace some sandals sounds like a joke. The other alternative I was offered was to see if Athletes Foot could help me, who have nothing to do with my original purchase. They unsurprisingly can’t help at all so being palmed off to them and passing the blame to one of their stockists adds insult to injury. Used to be such a fan of these shoes, but the lack of common sense in terms of the customer service team, plus the poor construction of these shoes has put an end to that.
