A happy accident
My mail order pharmacy recently sent me six boxes of test strips, I am assuming on auto refill, because I never ordered them. When I started to put them away I realized that I still had for boxes left from my last order, and was trying to figure a way to not let them go to waste. I don't test my blood nearly as often as I should come you might say rarely, so the strips were going to just go to waste if if I couldn't find a way to sell them. I considered selling them on eBay, but was not sure of the legality of doing so, so I asked my Google Assistant if it was legal to sell test strips. In it s reply, it quoted from test strips for money.com about how they are legal to sell, because you don't need a prescription to purchase them over the counter. Well, I naturally thought that I would check out the website but Google had just quoted, and after reading about the process, I still had my doubts,. So I called the phone number they had supplied, to ask my questions. The lady who answered the phone gave me all of the information I needed, and provided me with a mailing label to print. I was really skeptical of the process, when she told me that I could make $30 for each box that I mailed in, but since the process was free, save for the cost of packaging, I decided to take the chance. Once my package had been delivered, I received an email letting me know that I had three boxes which were damaged, and would only be paid $20 for them each. They provided photos of the damage, which was only minor printing flaw from where I had removed the labels. I removed the labels before I talked to the company and was told that I should not have done that that they have machines to take them off, and that they are shredded for my protection, but I had already done so, so there it was. Still for my 10 boxes of test strips that I sent in I was paid $270, which was way more than I had ever expected to get from them online. Even the fact that they paid $20 for each damage box was amazing to me if I ever end up with a surplus of test strips again, that I didn't order, I will immediately call for a shipping label. I was extremely happy with the outcome of my transaction. And will be a customer forever more.
