It is very hard to get in touch with a person as their AI agents don’t work properly. I had sent various emails where they get auto closed or not even responses and it takes forever to schedule an appointment. Also their AI chat agent doesn’t retain information and you have to repeat yourself constantly

Tesla Solar has failed to…
Tesla Solar has failed to correct/repair all property damaged from water leaks from improper panel installation and much, much more! This week, they were scheduled on two different days to do “roof work” plus reinstall the last of the panels on the back of the house. They failed to show up or contact us. We are also missing insulation from the front of the house where they had to repair the roof and ceiling. They are the worst. This has been going on for 18 MONTHS now. One star is not good enough for them. Note - when they replaced the front roof, they did not replace the back. The team they sent to reinstall said the back roof should have been repaired too and they wouldn’t reinstall panels. Tesla has not addressed this. We have repeatedly called and emailed and the issues are not fully resolved..

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE.
THE ABSOLUTE WORSE.. Roof leak because of their chitty install with a contract price to come take off and reinstall if ever needed. Well they can do it in 4 months!! lmfao so I guess I will just let water run all in my house until then. OH and if you use a 3rd party to reinstall your warranty is void!! What a pos company..

HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY~
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY!
Tesla, by far, has the worst customer service anyone could ask for. Everything is done through their national 877 number, yet the people who work on the other end are some of the most incompetent people I've ever worked with (please note this is in no reflection on our local Tesla centers and service people). As a matter of fact, the local Tesla people are very nice and do a great job.
For example, on Friday, our house was not connected to the grid for some reason. Therefore, we had zero electricity. The temperature in Phoenix at that time was 110°. I had to call literally six times in order to get an emergency ticket placed so that someone could come out that same day. During those six phone calls, I spoke to some of the most incompetent people. I literally told them that I had zero electricity in the house, and it was hot and dangerous. Why wasn't this an emergency? I was eventually issued an emergency service ticket, and I'm not joking: it was literally set for January 11, 2027, despite telling the operator multiple times that I had zero electricity and this was an emergency! This is how ridiculous and incompetent Tesla is. See the picture for proof.
I even asked to speak to a supervisor, and they said the ticket was submitted, but the supervisor declined to talk to me because it wasn't important enough.
Finally, I was able to speak to someone who was smart, and she placed an emergency ticket for me. They came over that same day. However, keep in mind that this was after multiple phone calls and having a ticket scheduled in January 2027 to have my house looked at. This is consistent with their mode of operation. Anything you want them to come over to look at is literally months out. It's not next week or a few days. It's literally at least 1-2 months out before anyone comes to address your issue. This is not my first time interacting with incompetent people from Tesla. Too many other examples to list, but definitely this one was the deal breaker. Do not buy from Tesla. Go somewhere else. You will thank me later!

If I could give a review rating of less…
If I could give a review rating of less than one in relation to Tesla Solar, I would. I reached out to Tesla Solar as part of my process of determining which company I wanted to install solar panels on my house. They got back to me pretty quickly and scheduled an appointment to talk with me about my Solar needs. I then decided to move to the next step with them, which required me to put a $100 deposit down. I was told on multiple occasions and also read in the document that I signed that this deposit was refundable as long as I canceled before, the solar panels were installed. After I gave my deposit, Tesla Solar sent me a draft initial plan to review and approve. I reviewed it, liked what I saw, and approved it. After this, Tesla‘s communication with me dropped off significantly. I had multiple questions for them about the draft plan and other things, and I could not get in touch with the two representatives that Tesla had told me where on my project team. I got so frustrated with the lack of communication, which was none, that I decided to not move forward with Tesla and I canceled everything with them. Even after I canceled, I still did not get any response from the two representatives that were supposedly working my project. Two days later I did get a a phone call from a different Tesla representative telling me that they were *Now “running“ my project and would be my person of contact. This individual also told me that he was processing my refund for the hundred dollar down payment. Two weeks later I had still not received my $100 deposit refund and get no response from the person claiming to be my person of contact. I have completely sworn off Tesla Solar and have decided to move on with my solar needs with a local company that has blown Tesla’s customer service out of the water. I wouldn’t recommend Tesla Solar to my worst enemy. I would caution anyone on getting Solar through Tesla Solar. If their customer service is horrible at the beginning of your project imagine what it will be like after the Solar is installed.

If I could give negative stars
If I could give negative stars, I would. Worst costumer service. Any solar company is better than Tesla. We have had an invertor issue for 6 months, contacted 5 times (only via the app because the phone number goes no where) without anyone coming to actually look at the problem. They say to contact them anytime, but dont have a number to call or an email that accepts responses.

Tesla solar completely sucks
Tesla solar completely sucks. Have had major ongoing issues with panels not generating, system failures and high energy bills due to the system not functioning. Can only schedule service through the Tesla app. Takes MONTHS for technicians to come asses the problem, then say the issue needs to be referred to another department. Have spent over a year trying to get the system to run properly. BEWARE!!

Tesla customer support
I installed a Tesla solar system 3 years ago. For the last 2 years it was broken twice. I understand it is a complex system that can sometimes break, but not every year.... This time it broke on Jan 20, and it was fixed only on April 24. It was a nightmare to reach customer support, and they referred me to different tiers, not providing real ECDs and not wanting to send a technician onsite, stating that they need to check it first virtually and that it is my internet fault. I went through the hassle of changing all internet equipment and paying for it when it was unnecessary. Eventually after the arrival of the Tesla technician, it was fixed, and the technician stated that it was a known problem that happens quite often with the Tesla Powerwalls. So basically, technical support knew the issue from the beginning, but they refused to take action and put me through the entire cycle. As a result my power bills just doubled, I lost time, and I was very frustrated.
My advice: Tesla got too big and too many customers but didn't back up technicians. Go with the local solar company, and in case of a similar situation, you can resolve it faster.
