Do not use this software if you manage any significant volume. TenantCloud cost our Charlotte portfolio thousands in lost productivity when its lease engine failed during a major move-in push, sending blank documents to renters. Their screening system is slow and flagged inaccurate background histories, causing hot leads to fall through. When we reached out about the massive administrative overhead this caused, support offered an insulting $30 credit. It actively disrupts occupancy rates and frustrates applicants. Stay away.

I recently onboarded 70 new tenants using TenantCloud's lease creation tool with auto-population fields. Unknown to me, the auto-fill feature broke during this process — but the error was only visible on the tenant side, meaning all their leases appeared completely blank. I had no way of knowing until tenants started reaching out confused. This forced me to meet with every single tenant individually to redo each lease by hand. The time lost cost me thousands of dollars in productivity, and the experience seriously damaged my tenants' trust in the system. Several now refuse to use TenantCloud entirely, which means I'm back to collecting paper checks — an ongoing operational burden that shows no sign of letting up. When I contacted TenantCloud support, I was told the bug would be fixed within a few weeks. As compensation for the thousands of dollars in losses and the lasting damage to my tenant relationships, they offered me a $30 credit — which didn't even cover what I paid them, let alone the real cost of the failure. I cannot recommend TenantCloud to other landlords or property managers. A platform bug of this magnitude — one that is invisible to the account holder but breaks every lease for incoming tenants — is a serious reliability issue. The response from their support team did not reflect the severity of the situation.

I am currently in the process of applying for a rental and if I didn’t pay so much for my computer, I would have thrown it by now. This has to be the worst platform I have ever navigated. It’s only because the property manager I’m working with has the patience of a saint that I’m still in this process. It has been 6 days now that both my husband, myself and the property manager have done this back and forth nonsense with uploads. Not to mention the information Tenant Cloud has about me is all over the place. Missing residential history information, the spelling of my employer is incorrect. Moving on to navigating uploading the required documents: we’ve uploaded the documents and then we’re told it was uploaded in the wrong location however when we try to upload the documents in the location Tenant Cloud requires, the edit option is greyed out and there is no way to change it so that the documents can successfully be uploaded. Our property manager even inquired if she could upload through her system and was told, no. Additionally I have never needed to provide such invasive financial information for a rental. Mine and my husbands bank statement? Our check stubs should be efficient to show our income far exceeds the rental amount. Who is viewing our banking account information? If you’re purchasing a home, understandable. Such invasive personal information is overreach for a rental property. The only reason I’m showing it for this situation is because I trust the property manager. If it were anyone else, I’d pass. I have seen nothing from Tenant Cloud assuring me that our personal information is kept private and with all the fraud that exists today Tenant Cloud needs to hold themselves accountable by assuring landlords and tenants that the info provided to their site is protected. I have worked with many different softwares and this one is the furthest from user friendly that I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. What makes matters worse is when the property manager inquires if she is able to upload check stubs in the correct place from her system Tenant Cloud says no and still leaves it hanging for the applicant to figure out. I can already see multiple missed opportunities for landlords and tenants by no fault of theirs, rather the fault of Tenant Cloud with a platform that is far from user friendly, has prior applicant information incorrect which has the potential to cause a denial, And that’s after the applicant has jumped through hoops and jumped up, down, sideways, uploading documents standing on their head and upside down. Do better, Tenant Cloud!

My experience with TenantCloud has been extremely disappointing. I specifically chose this platform because I was led to believe it supports multi-currency property management, which is critical for managing properties in both the United States and Poland. After subscribing to their highest-tier plan, I discovered that proper support for currencies such as PLN and USD was not actually included as expected. Instead, I was later asked to purchase additional subscriptions to access functionality that was originally presented as part of the system. This created unnecessary complications, additional costs, and significantly reduced my trust in the platform. What should have simplified operations ended up creating more problems. I would not recommend TenantCloud to anyone managing international properties or relying on transparent pricing and clearly defined features.

I didn't appreciate anything about TenantCloud. I have been renting for years, and this is by far the worst platform I have ever been forced to use. The website is horrible to navigate, nothing flows and generally seems counter-intuitive. I have had to go to the help page to figure out basically anything, and I would consider myself quite well with computers since I grew up with them. You have to jump through about 5 different holes to set up auto pay, there isn't a single autopay option that comes without a service fee. That's pretty insane. I have never used a platform that charged a fee for an ACH bank account transfer, so that sucks. Also, in order to "verify" my account, a $0.01 deposit was made with a code in the memo that I have to input. This takes several days. Furthermore, there are constant alerts of things I need to do in order to "complete" my move-in (I've lived here for months now). I have no way of turning these off, and none of the options provided actually match the utilities and internet providers that I have, so there is nothing I can do about the annoying alerts. Overall, could not be more dissatisfied and disappointed that my property manager decided to switch to this god-awful website. If you care at all about your tenants, stay far away from this garbage.

I been trying to cancel my tenant cloud subscription for the past year and cannot!!! They still charge me the full amount, I even tried making a dispute on my credit card but they were also unsuccessful disputing..this is a total scam !!! Stay away ! Becarful!!!

They took forever to complete their check and it caused a denied application: if the landlord unsure this app don’t waste your time nor money.

Customer service is lacking. I had a tenant pay on line. After they moved out, they told their credit card company that the charges were fraudulent. TenantCloud, took all of the rent out of my account without notice, then charged me $255 for dispute fees, and then did nothing. I provided a lease and text messages to prove that the tenant was paying for rent. The tenant had to log into their account to make the rent payments, but somehow, those payments were claimed as fraudulent. I'd like to quit the app, but they won't let me download my information, nor will they give me a discount.
