Over all experience we so, so, given it took three different people to get it to the finish line and over a year to complete… But I will say Steve H was awesome! He was responsive, articulate and got the job done! Steven would have gotten 5 stars for sure!

In the beginning 2017-2019 excellent customer service Yan, then in 2020 & 2021 pandemic years no customer service and communication now playing catch up on past issues not resolved

I've worked with this company for about 3 years now, having four different analyst handle my case. Only this last one I had, Shema Massey, took the time to listen to my situation, offer the best solution and work with us to resolve our tax case. She was extremely pleasant, professional and stayed in constant contact with us through phone calls, texts or email.

In the beginning of 2021, I felt good with what I was told about my case. I felt the team was going to handle it well. When I got my personal tax representative, things turned the other way. I was barely communicated to. I had to reach out to her supervisor to get updates. My taxes would not be mailed to me until December of 2021 after Tax Defense started my case in February of that same year. Then all of sudden, or when my last payment to the company was paid, it was on me to hurry and sign. Like I was the problem… Honestly, this company didn’t do anything I couldn’t do myself. I was under the impression they would work with the IRS on my payment plan. But all they did was file the taxes, then tell me what I was supposed to pay. I requested through email that everything be explained to me, but never got a response. Trust me, I’m not bitter. But I do believe I wasted my money on this company to help. They didn’t help. They just did exactly what I should have done on my own. I wouldn’t waste my money again on this company at all. The only reason I’m giving three stars, is because they filed my taxes. They did not help me, they did not explain anything. They just filed the taxes, patted me on my back after they got my money, and walked away.

When I originally hired Tax Defense Network I was assigned to what I assumed a tax professional and he was horrible. He did nothing for two years and a couple days after I finished paying my installment agreement for there service he calls me and says that all he can do to resolve an over $20,000 tax debt is set up a payment plan. I called and complained and a different agent looked threw my taxes and found a year where my taxes were done wrong and said she'd file an amendment. For over 6 months I heard nothing so I called and that agent no longer worked there so I called to my new tax agent and she said she was working on my case. I'd email her every so often and would get a response of I'll call you tomorrow. She would hardly ever call. It was so bad that I started questioning her about if she really worked at Tax Defense Network because I thought she might have been a scammer. Finally she transfers me to another agent that FINALLY after 5 years and $5000 she resolves my case. I couldn't have made this story up if I wanted to.

We are appreciative of the help we received from both Mr. McKendree and Ms. Baker. However, time seemed to be a challenge. It seemed like it took longer than expected to have actual conversations with them. We are satisfied with the service and help they both provided though. Thank you.
