Tax Tiger reviewed our situation and formatted a plan and followed it to a T. I was impressed with our original conversation and outline of what needed to be done in our best interest. I was given two options and choose the plan that worked best for us. I was shocked at how quickly things moved and credit Tax Tiger for the end results which saved us over $150,000.00 in IRS debt. They also have kept me informed and given us a plan to keep things current with the IRS to eliminate any further issues in the years to come. After working with another tax consultant for several years with little success, we read an article that lead us to Tax Tigers. They were incredibly upfront about what to expect; they delivered on every issue. They communicated frequently, sometimes just to reassure us of where they were in the process. I am very, very grateful to Tax Tiger for helping me complete my tax problem. In my case, when they say they can't, they mean they won't, and when asked why, I was reminded that my case was pro-bono. "What difference does that make," I asked. Correspondence both by email and phone calls turned into an all out battle to get an answer. My emails were not answered and phone calls not returned. My story begins back in 2001 when I failed to file my taxes for the first time and a snowball effect ensued for the following 12 years. I had not filed, and I owed close to $50K in backed taxes, interest and late fees. I felt like I was in a hole since the federal government filed a tax lien on me. I had been able to “outsmart” them since I was self-employed, and I did not keep too much money in the bank, but it got to a point where I could not keep a cent in the bank, get a decent car loan and forget about buying a house. I was very apprehensive to call anyone, I had really dug a deep hole with the IRS to the tune of $263,906.82.
