HR Reps: Only Use TASC if You Don't Care About Your People
HR leaders, before reading the review, I implore you to treat your employees better than this unless you genuinely want them to have a terrible experience working for you. This organization is more focused on producing red tape than it is providing a useful means to access to the money that's yours to begin with. - The card gets shut off without any notice and you don't know why it's declining until it's far too late. - The card will decline purchases through the TASC STORE. It's OWN STORE gets declined (which by the way is an Amazon affiliate link farm - at best nefariously presented money grab, at worst illegal). - Reimbursement requests are literally never accepted on the first attempt. This company has built a web of red tape that runs so deep it's probably fraudulent deep down in the books somewhere. Once you submit a request and get declined (reminder: every time), they give you an appeal PDF to fill out, but you're required to send this PDF with supporting documents (the receipts they've already seen and declined automatically), including an ESSAY ABOUT WHY YOU THINK YOU DESERVE IT (I added the "essay" for dramatic effect, but it feels like a 3rd grade teacher assigning an essay when you read through the appeal form) VIA MAIL OR FAX. 1989 called, they want their business practices back. You have 180 days to respond to them after a decline, so naturally they're going to take their time processing this hand-written essay with attached receipts, and simple form, which means by the time your credit card is due (which you obviously needed to use because your $1k+ medical expense was sudden and unexpected) you're still waiting another 90 days for the mailman to deliver your essay to the folks in the big gray wigs so they can just decline it again. TL:DR - There are hundreds of terrible experiences documented quite well around the Internet. If you work for an HR department or contractor and you're considering this place, strike it from the list. You'll lose more employees than the savings are worth.
