I ordered a t shirt as a sample for an initial production run in size XL. The shirt arrived quite quickly but immediately looked too small. I contacted customer service and they explained it was within their 3cm size variance and showed the sizing chart. XL as per their sizing chart is an XS anywhere else and it is the largest size offered. Out of curiosity, I got my 12 yr old who is only 5ft tall to try it on and it fits like a glove.

Hi Brant,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry for the disappointment caused by the sizing and understand how frustrating this can be when ordering samples for a production run.
After reviewing the order details, we’d like to clarify for other customers reading this review that the item selected was a women’s fitted (slim-fit) style, which is designed to have a narrower cut and a more tailored silhouette. As noted on the product page and size chart, this style runs smaller than unisex or relaxed-fit garments, and the XL is intended for a fitted look rather than an oversized or standard unisex XL fit.
The measurements provided on our size chart reflect the actual garment dimensions, and the ±3 cm variance mentioned by our support team is an industry-standard allowance for production. For customers who prefer a looser fit or plan to sell to a broader audience, we strongly recommend choosing unisex or relaxed-fit styles, which offer a more conventional sizing scale and wider size range.
We appreciate you raising this point, as it highlights the importance of selecting the right fit type when sampling products. If you’d like recommendations on alternative styles that better match your needs, our support team is always happy to help.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Unreliable
Unreliable. Previous orders have arrived within a week. Now I've spent more money the order has conveniently vanished. Reporting hasn't helped, no support. Never using again
Response from TapstitchDec 23, 2025
Hi Lauren,
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation has caused, especially given that your previous orders arrived quickly and set a very different expectation.
After reviewing your case, we can confirm that this issue is related to shipping disruptions during the current peak logistics period. This time of year places heavy strain on carrier networks, which can unfortunately result in delayed or stalled shipments. We understand how disappointing this feels—particularly after you’ve invested more and trusted us based on past experiences.
Your case has already been escalated beyond standard support, and a senior team member will follow up with you directly to review the shipment status and next steps. We also want to clarify for transparency that our support team is actively involved in these cases, even when updates may take longer than expected due to carrier investigations.
We sincerely regret that this order did not meet the level of reliability you previously experienced. While we respect your decision, we do hope you’ll allow us the chance to properly follow up and resolve this matter.
Thank you for raising this publicly—it helps us improve both our communication and our service during high-demand periods.

Rubbish scam website
Rubbish scam website. Terrible site, don't bother ordering, my shipment has conveniently gone missing and they refuse to do anything other than have a bot reply to all messages. Have had no help in recovering my order. Don't use
Response from TapstitchDec 23, 2025
Hi Humbert,
We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how upsetting it is when a shipment doesn’t arrive as expected—especially during such a busy time of year.
To provide some context, this period is our peak season, and it also coincides with the global logistics peak leading up to Christmas. While this does not excuse the inconvenience you’ve faced, it does mean that delays and exceptions within the shipping network can unfortunately occur more frequently.
That said, your case has now been escalated for manual review, and a senior support specialist will be reaching out to you directly to assist with investigating the shipment status and working toward a resolution. We want to reassure you that your messages are not being ignored, and this is not handled by automated responses alone.
We sincerely apologize that your second order did not meet expectations and for the frustration this situation has caused. We truly hope you’ll allow us the opportunity to follow up properly and provide the level of service you deserve.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I am writing to express my profound…
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding the recent drastic downturn in my experience with your service. While my initial interactions were positive, the continuous and inexplicable cancellation of my recent orders has left my customers waiting and has severely damaged the credibility of my brand.
I have placed multiple orders only to have them canceled repeatedly. This inconsistency is unacceptable for a serious brand owner.
My attempts to gain clarity and resolve these issues through customer service have been entirely fruitless. I have communicated with agents, including Gen and Mikay via chat, and received an email response from Qin. In all instances, the responses were generic, canned statements, often citing, "we are currently unable to meet the quality expectations you have for printed products."
The situation escalated when I pressed for accountability regarding an order placed on November 22, 2025, that never arrived, as well as previous printing errors. After questioning these failures, a chat agent abruptly advised me that "you can't place new orders your account is restricted." This directly contradicts assurances from two previous agents who explicitly stated I had "no issues with my account."
It is apparent that when I questioned Tapstitch about accountability or sought resolution for errors, my account was suddenly targeted with restrictions. As a premium brand owner, I cannot and will not jeopardize my brand's reputation with this level of operational inconsistency and punitive customer service.
I am now certain that I must take my business elsewhere—to a partner who respects my brand's commitment to quality and reliability as much as I do.

Hi Demarcus,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how frustrating order disruptions can be, especially when they impact your customers and brand reputation, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation for transparency.
After a thorough internal review of your account and order history, we can confirm that the repeated order cancellations were not arbitrary. They were the result of ongoing production feasibility and quality control concerns identified across multiple orders. As a print-on-demand partner, we have a responsibility not only to fulfill orders, but to ensure that products shipped meet our minimum production and quality standards. In cases where we determine that we are unable to reliably meet those standards for a specific setup or account, we may decide not to proceed with further production to avoid sending substandard products to end customers.
Regarding account restrictions: these are applied only after careful internal evaluation and are not a response to customers raising questions or requesting accountability. On the contrary, we welcome feedback and inquiries. However, when past issues indicate a high likelihood of repeated production failure or misalignment with our manufacturing capabilities, continuing to accept new orders would not be responsible for either party.
We acknowledge that our communication during this process could have been clearer and more consistent, and for that we sincerely apologize. We are actively working on improving how such decisions are explained to avoid confusion or mixed messages in the future.
While we respect your decision to seek an alternative partner that better fits your needs, we want to reassure other customers reading this that account restrictions are rare and are based on operational and quality considerations—not punitive measures. Our goal remains to build long-term, reliable partnerships grounded in transparency and product quality.
We wish you the very best in your future endeavors and appreciate the time you spent working with us.

Ordered blank hoodies 3 weeks later no update. I reached out to customer service and they said the item was out of stock and they will send the order out when they receive more stock. They could not give a timeframe for when that would be. It is now 5 weeks later still no update.
Response from TapstitchDec 10, 2025
Hi Isaiah,
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback and I’m truly sorry for the frustration and lack of clear updates you experienced with your hoodie order.
I’ve reviewed your case with our team and discovered that there was an internal process misunderstanding that led to the incorrect information you received. Your order did encounter a stock issue initially, which is why you were told it was out of stock. However, by the time you contacted customer service, your item had already been restocked and your order was actually prepared and shipped on December 9.
You would see movement on the tracking shortly. If you haven’t seen any tracking updates yet, please reach out to us directly at [[email protected]], and we’ll be happy to share the tracking details and make sure everything arrives as expected.
We take full responsibility for the confusion and poor experience this created. Clear, timely communication is something you should always be able to count on, and we’re actively working on improving our internal processes so that stock updates and order statuses are synchronized more accurately in the future.
We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we hope this won’t discourage you from working with us again. If there’s anything else we can do to make this right, please let us know, we’d genuinely like the chance to restore your confidence in us.

Misaligned Design Tool
I came to Tapstitch looking for a reliable design and production partner, but the experience has been not good. The fundamental problem lies in their design tool, which is completely broken and makes achieving accurate placement impossible.
It is absolutely impossible to center or align any graphic correctly. The visual editor is inherently flawed—the left and right sides of the design area are constantly uneven and misaligned. I spent hours fighting the interface, trying to visually compensate for what the software couldn't do correctly, but ultimately, the tool is a technical failure.
Predictably, this critical design flaw translated directly into unacceptable physical products. The samples I received had visible mistakes: the logos were visibly crooked, off-center, and misaligned on the garment. It is clear that whatever defect exists in the design platform is not being corrected during production.
A design service that cannot guarantee basic centering and alignment is useless for professional branding. If precision and quality control are important to your business, I strongly advise you to avoid Tapstitch. This level of quality is unacceptable.
Response from TapstitchNov 17, 2025
Hi Claude,
We’re truly sorry for the experience you’ve had and for the frustration caused by our design tool. You’re absolutely right — accurate alignment and precision are fundamental for professional branding, and we take full responsibility that our current tool didn’t meet those expectations.
We want to be transparent — this issue with visual misalignment in the design editor is something we’re aware of, and it’s already scheduled for an upcoming update. Our tech and product teams have been actively working to optimize the tool’s accuracy so that what you see in the editor perfectly matches the final printed result.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and wasted time this has caused you. Your feedback is invaluable — it’s only through customers like you, who care deeply about precision and quality, that we can continue improving.
We hope you’ll consider revisiting Tapstitch once the new version of the design tool is released. We’d love the chance to show you how much better it’s become.

We’re truly sorry for the frustration this experience has caused — especially after your long-term trust in Tapstitch. You’re absolutely right to expect urgency and transparency when paying for express shipping, and we deeply regret that we didn’t meet those expectations this time.
To clarify, your order has already been shipped and is currently at the Hong Kong port awaiting vessel loading. That said, we fully understand that this update should have been communicated to you clearly and much earlier — and that’s our responsibility.
We’ve already escalated your case to a senior support specialist who will contact you directly with an additional compensation solution for the delay. We know this doesn’t undo the inconvenience, but we hope it shows that we take this situation — and your business — seriously.
We’re genuinely sorry for letting you down and for the disappointment this has caused. We value your loyalty over the past year and truly hope you’ll give us another chance to make things right.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend Tapstich
I absolutely DO NOT recommend Tapstich. They mislead you into thinking their production takes place in the USA. It's when you receive tracking notification that you realize your shirts are coming from China. When you are browsing their website it mentions the offices they have in the USA and never does it mention they are overseas. Samples have taken forever to arrive and then I ordered additional samples from a line whose production takes place in USA but when i get tracking information again, it's being shipped from China. This is too much, they are misleading you into thinking production takes place here in US.
10/15/25
When I placed my first order and received tracking info, that's when i realized it was fulfilled internationally. Then I immediately went to your support and was told I would have to filter by where i want products fulfilled and select fulfilled in the USA. Ok, i did that and it was still shipped from China. Ok so i decided to give you a third chance because you do have great quality printing. So I started to place the third order and the cart stated that the one t-shirt was being fulfilled both Internationally and in the USA. How can one tee be fufilled in both places. Then i hopped on to the support chat to get confirmation/clarity and support wasn't able to figure it out. Tapstitch has great printing quality, the best I've seen so far, but it's not doing itself any favors when you can't make it easy to order a products and then your support team can't even provide clarity. I really hope you guys get it together.
Response from TapstitchOct 13, 2025
Hi Ingrid,
We’re truly sorry for the experience you had and for the confusion around our production locations. We completely understand your frustration, you expected your samples to be produced and shipped from the U.S., and the mixed tracking information was disappointing.
To clarify, Tapstitch supports both U.S. and international fulfillment centers, and customers can choose which location to produce from when placing an order. However, we recognize that this wasn’t made clear enough during your purchase, and that’s on us.
We’re already working on improving how this information is displayed on our website, so customers can easily see where each product will be fulfilled before checkout. At the same time, we’re continuing to expand the range of products available from our U.S. warehouse, so more items can be produced domestically and delivered faster.
We truly regret that this caused you inconvenience and frustration, and we appreciate you pointing it out, it helps us improve both our communication and our service.
Thank you again for your feedback. We hope we can earn back your trust in the future.
