We thought it was a great deal but it was a horrible experience. Our tour guide was rude and hard to understand in English - He showed up 45 minutes late on the first day, then literally got into a screaming match with another tourist on the bus we was awkward and unprofessional to say the least. They also charged us almost double the RRP for tickets so if you do end up on one of these tours, do NOT buy tickets for optional activites through them! Buy them yourself at the ticket counter. We also spent almost the whole time on the bus - they allowed us 25 minutes at the Grand Canyon after spending 5 hours getting there, and about 30 minutes total at Yosemite. A huge disappointment and not at all worth the cheap price.

3 days of hell! No time to visit the sights : 10 minutes for Capitol but on the other hand 30 minutes for a bathroom stop. Guide threatened to leave without my son who was 1! minute late on the bus when running like a maniac trying to get a photo of the capitol in the 10 minutes allocated ! Guide then kept on saying :" I’m trying, really trying to be nice but if people are going to be late".... are you serious ? FYI they were 35 minutes late for pick up on departure day. For lunch you are dropped of at some gas station and diner at a food court that serves Asian food exclusively. I guess someone complained being tired of Chinese food because the guide promised no Chinese on 3rd night but he had to make it clear we had no right to complain as this was a Chinese tour so.... what the hell ? DO NOT SELL THIS TOUR TO NON CHINESE THEN!!!!!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS TOUR. RUBBISH INTINERARY AND RUDE GUIDE!

Why you SHOULD NOT BUY tours from Taketours - I bought 3 day tour from Las Vegas on the site taketours but finally it was operated by Lassen tour operator. So Taketours is a tour aggregator and not responsible for anything. They just collect money and do not guarantee the service and content. That’s why it is very risky to buy from them. When i called them as i could not find tour bus they said to call to a tour guide. They could not and did not want to help. I sent my negative review on the tour afterwards but it was not published. That’s why there are 3 mega positive reviews on this tour since they just ignore and do not publish negative ones. - Lassen tour is Chinese company with Chinese service for Chinese tourists. All guides are Chinese and speak mostly Chinese during tours. - First of all Lassen tour was not safe. 2 in 1 guide-driver was driving as crazy. Finally he was stoped by a cop and fined due to breaking speed limit. When he was driving he managed also to talk, call, text messages and collect money. I did not feel secure in a car with him. Inacceptable to drive like this with so many people in a van. - There are many optional activities for additional fee but in reality they are mandatory to pay. Lower Antelope canyon was communicated and included to a tour but finally we did not visit it due to unclear reasons. - Then the guide was really rude. I could not believe that I am in US having such bad service. But 8 dollars are collected per person per day as mandatory tips no matter what service you get. - During 2 day tour we were supposed to have a lunch in the same Chinese fast food place which was horrible even for Chinese people. Most probably guide gets commission. - Small inconvenient van for a long distance tour

We booked a two day tour to New York from Boston.This tour was a nightmare to navigate. First there was little communication about the tour other than what was on the website. They would not tell you what hotel you were going to stay at until the evening of the first night. The hotel we stayed at was 1 1/2 hours away from New York in New Jersey. It did not include the breakfast, you had to pay an additional $7.00 for a cold breakfast. The bus we took from Boston was a public bus that dropped us off at the East-West bus station in China Town. On the return bus trip from New York to Boston they did not drop us off at the same place they picked us up at. We had to walk 3 blocks in the middle of China town at midnight and they could not give us directions to the original bus stop. This tour company caters to the Asian market and they were not concerned about us caucasians. The only thing I can say positive about my experience booking through Taketours.com is I learned not to use this company again.

My agent was Taketours. So for our tour we took the two day trip to dc. So on our way that were asking for 55 dollars for a person for the attractions, and the worst part was that we did not even have the money with us and we never notified, and it also does not say on our contract.

This is a SCAM! ALL the bad reviews are true, and even more. I do not believe the good reviews. We felt like we were kidnapped, and the tour guide will strand us in the middle of nowhere if we did not keep handing out cash to him. He even kept selling us breakfast and dinner service! Seriously! Our experience was so horrible that I just signed up to give my opinion and review of this SCAM tour. Please take other tour company. There are good ones out there. This one is a scam.

Horrible company, terrible experience. Trust me, you don't want to use taketours services. I saw the bad reviews before but didn't take them seriously. I booked the Woodbury Commons tour for me and my girlfriend. The bus was suppose to pick us up at 08:00. We waited from 07:30 to 08:45. However, it did not show up. What's more, the customer service hasn't replied to my refund request. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

TOO TOO BAD! SCAMMERS! BE WARE! PLUS THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONES, KEPT CALLING ALL DAY LONG WITH NOTHING BUT WAITING TO SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON!! The worst ever experience with a tour company! they're cheating people! I booked the trip online and my credit card was charged in USD instantaneously while my credit card company (like many other credit card companies) ripped me off straight away in currency conversation for overseas purchases! In a few hours I get an email from this company saying that the tour I purchased is no longer available and instead offered me another tour on a different date but double the price! so basically this is how these guys rip you off, they show you something online and tell you something else to buy at a higher price!! on my argument, they offered me to refund my money which too was a double whammy for me since on the refund my credit card company ripped me off one more time in currency conversion. So in a nutshell, I simply got charged for nothing but only currency conversion twice for a service that I never availed!! They should offer online only what they have to sell and charge the customer only if it is accepted not something else at an outrageous price, refunding money is not a solution for a customer like me who just paid twice at purchase and at refund for no service received!!
