Can't speak to a live person/ scam?
Can't speak to a live person. This place is horrible. Feels like a scam. Been trying to get something done for over 2 months. Endless cycle of denial with clarity.

Take Command is a SaaS platform that helps companies reimburse employees for health insurance. Offering seamless administration for Individual Coverage HRAs (ICHRAs) and Qualified Small Employer HRAs (QSEHRAs), Take Command was the first end to end ICHRA solution on the market, the first to bring a viable partnership model to brokerage firms, the only HRA administrator invited to the White House when ICHRA was announced, the only company to offer in-house, personalized enrollment support for employees, and a founder of the HRA Council. With clients in all 50 states and clients ranging from 3 to 3,000 employees, Take Command has helped more than 5,000 companies take command of their health benefits. Take Command is proud to be named a best place to work by Modern Healthcare, Builtin, and Dallas Business Journal, and has won countless awards in the startup and innovation sectors.
Take Command (takecommandhealth.com) has 357 customer reviews on Five Star Index, with an average rating of 3.6 out of 5.

This seems more than a little bit like a scam. Out of the blue I'm getting emails from Take Command telling me to click on this link and start entering my personal details. I've never heard of them before. I've gotten nothing from my employer. Just seems like spam

Definitely on the short list for the worst support of any company I/my company have ever been a customer of. Take Command omitted some approved expenses from their HRA reimbursement report one month and was utterly useless in helping to resolve the problem. They couldn't / wouldn't provide guidance of how to issue the reimbursements retroactively ("please reach out to customer support for your payroll provider") nor would they even provide assistance in making sure that the relevant 1095s and other tax documents were updated correctly (they suggested that we talk to some 3rd party company which they apparently outsource some documentation requirements to -- but we are not a customer a of this 3rd party and have concerns from a tax / health / privacy standpoint). And to cap it all off this process (which did not result in successfully resolving our problem, which Take Command admits they caused) took months.

We're truly sorry for the experience you had and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We understand how frustrating it is when an issue takes too long to resolve and leaves you without clear guidance. A member of our leadership team will be reaching out to better understand what happened, resolve any remaining concerns, and ensure we learn from your experience. We're committed to using your feedback to improve our processes and provide a better experience for all of our customers.

As a Take Command customer for more than a year, I consider them a SaaS scam. They provided us virtually no service, other than giving us an initial tax document ChatGPT could have written. Then they charged us thousands of dollars for inactive and terminated employees, and when we caught the mistake, refused to issue a refund because of "our plan." This company is VERY shady and I would avoid them at all costs. Administer your ICHRA yourself, or go with a better, cheaper service like Salusion.

Extremely difficult tu use. Lack of training in their AI support, I've been looking for a way to cancel the service and there are no references to the simple cancelation form. The AI says to go to billing but there is no way to cancel there. They're always either offline or busy with other customers and I don't have all day to wait and get the account cancelled, I hope at least I get a refund for the service I haven't used nor will be using

Atrocious. Used to be good up to 2025. Jumped the shark with their new portal rollout in 2026. Horrible customer care with slow, confusing, contradictory answers, incorrect reimbursement reports, repeated failures to correct errors. Waiting till the end of the year to switch away from them. Do yourself a favor - look elsewhere.

We are a small employer who has been with Take Command for 3 years now. Since we have been switched to the new portal, I would rate this company ZERO stars. Customer Service is non-existent - wasted hours re-explaining issues and still no resolutions. We are now on the fifth month of incorrect allowance reimbursements for our employees.

We’ve had a frustrating experience using the Take Command platform. While the concept is great in theory, the execution has been lacking. The system is not very intuitive, and basic functions like managing employee statuses or resending invites are either difficult to find or unavailable. This has created unnecessary administrative challenges for our team. Additionally, support and flexibility seem limited when trying to resolve common issues, which adds to the overall inefficiency. We were hoping for a smoother, more user-friendly experience, but unfortunately, the platform has not met our expectations.
