We've struggled with multiple issues using TakeCommand -- reimbursement reports with errors, cancelling our account early, not notifying a teammate that their health insurance had been cancelled, slow customer service, you name it. Would not recommend.

if i can give it 0 stars I would! it's been two weeks and I am still stuck on a GRAYED out page that won't allow me to continue with my open enrollment. I have chatted with the reps, called support, and even got emails that they said have been fixed but i am still stuck on the same page!!! just getting a work around that no one can help or solve and I am running out of time and patience. They took days to reply to emails, and the reps that you chat online with takes 10-20 minutes for a simple response. such a horrible experience. I still need my coverage!!!

Take Command is unable to handle onboarding mid year hires. I have employees who have ACA plans in place for over a month but Take Command still hasn't flagged their Participation as Enrolled in HRA. For one employee it's been over 60 days.

I run a small business of around 55 employees. I made the decision to partner with Take Command to offer ICHRA to my employees since I'm now an ALE under ACA. We started with them in January 2024 and we have problems almost every month. To highlight a few key issues: - They don't actually help educate my employees on their options, or help them navigate shopping for a health plan. This support was a key factor in choosing Take Command over several other options. - Their online portal looks nice, but gives very little ability to actually admin the plan or employees. Sometimes it simply displays incorrect information. - Their autopay feature (another key factor in choosing Take Command over others) is a complete mess. Every month many of my employees get notices from their insurance companies that their payments are late. - - This is really the infuriating one for me, because it erodes my employees trust in me (their employer), not Take Command. In my employees mind, I (the employer) am responsible for making sure their insurance is getting paid - I'm withholding premiums from their paycheck after all. But they're getting late notices saying their health insurance isn't getting paid, after their premiums were withheld from their paycheck. - - One time an employee got an insurance termination notice for nonpayment. I contacted take command and after 3 days of no response, the response I got was, "normally we have a 15 day grace period, I don't know why the carrier would have cancelled before that." But that was money I had already sent to Take Command to autopay on my employees insurance - they shouldn't be riding that 15 day grace period in the first place. This just looks like robbing Peter to pay Paul because they're having cashflow issues. - Today's issue, is that my employee cancelled her health insurance in September and Take Command drafted and sent her payment in October. I've been trying to get this fixed for almost a week now and can't get any straight answers, in the meantime they've drafted my account for the premium, even though the insurance was cancelled. Overall they make great promises, and I truly wish they were able to deliver the product they sold me in January, but they can't. Pick a different company to run your ICHRA. Stay away from Take Command Until a few months ago you couldn't get them on the phone at all for support. Now they generally answer the phone but immediately shovel you off to support via email - the phone reps are super friendly but they can't actually do anything. The people who can actually help you will never interact by phone, only by email. Their email response time is days long.

I am an employee who receives my insurance reimbursement through TakeCommand. I've gotten two insurance plans on their platform so far. While the process for identifying and signing up for a plan is easy, I ran into issues with both plans after signing up. The first situation was more attributable to the insurance company, but the second case was on TakeCommand. I applied for my plan and heard nothing from TakeCommand or the insurance company for a few weeks. I checked in with TakeCommand a few times about this and was assured that it was normal, until someone looked into my case and realized that my application had never actually been submitted to the health insurance company. I don't know how long it would have taken them to realize this if I hadn't been following up regularly. While every help agent I have worked with has been polite and understanding, having to go through TakeCommand as the middleman for my insurance--and feeling like I cannot trust them to be responsible for my documents--has been a headache. Update: it has been nearly a month since I submitted my application and I still don't have insurance. I would never shop through TakeCommand again.

This is a terrible company to deal with. Most reps don't know what they are talking about and they have changed the rules governing our employees reimbursements twice in the last year without notifying us. Now our employees who have taxable insurance reimbursements cannot submit nontaxable reimbursement documents. This has cost some of our employees hundreds of dollars in unnecessary taxes. This was a change from their previous policy made without notification. We will be dropping them as our QSEHRA service provider as soon as we find a replacement

Most incompetent company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Reps will take weeks to respond, after they mess up your application. You will be stuck without coverage as they miss key deadlines despite having weeks to sort everything out. They will make submitting forms seem like rocket science, and you will wish you just did it yourself. The insurance companies hate these guys, you will hate these guys. Just don't do it.

Hi "M," so sorry you had a less than exceptional experience. We don't have any record of you on our platform, so it's hard to help via TrustPilot. Please reach out to our support team if there's anything we can do.
