Normally, I Give this place five stars. But not this time. I showed up Sunday around 1-2 pm. We were directed to one side but they were having difficulties so moved us to the other bay. Which we had to sit there and still wait for the other side to finish do to the oil being unable to drain in bay 1, so they had to put it in buckets and carry it over to bay 2 to dump. They did the normal oil change and said how old both the cabin and engine air filter were and that they should be changed yearly. I am currently on a super tight budget so I asked how much they would be and was thinking about getting them from Walmart since I know where they are located and not too hard to do. I was told it would be taken care of and he had me but never told me what the price was so from what I understood was he was being nice and giving for free. He told me he had me twice. They changed the filters and I thought he said it was $115 well the oil change since I have so many miles is $99 before taxes and he said he gave me a 25% discount. I didn’t do the math but then handed me the receipt, price was $150 with filters. I took the receipt and no one knew how to reset the light that comes on for an oil change. Said there was more wrong with my car and to go to one of the auto shops to have them run tests. I then look at the receipt they charged me for both filters and never told me the price. $150 later and still had to google how to turn off the oil light to do it myself. And the price they charge I could have gotten at least 2 filters for the engine and for the cabin at Walmart and did it myself. Figured out how to reset the oil light myself. This is the last time I think I gonna take my car there. An earlier time they left the top oil cap off and so oil pushed out everywhere. After an oil change there a bolt to a piece under my car went missing and was told it was my problem they didn’t do it, so the piece is still hanging down. I can see why each time I go there is a new crew. No one seems to really know what they are doing. Just wandering around hoping to get it right. And nothing said either

Do not take your car here and definitely not 9725 Manchester Rd. I went here for what I thought was a simple oil change. I pulled off the lot and my car did a jerking motion like it was backfiring. an hour later the malfunction warning signal and all the dashboard lights came on. My car shut off while in idle three times. I called the shop and drove it back to them and it shut off three times while driving. I was told by the worker they may have knocked wires loose from the maf while taking out the air filter , which was never requested. I told the guy changing my oil I didn't want anything extra but the oil change. The man at this shop said it was nothing they can do even though nothing was going on with my car prior to me bringing it to them. Now my car will barley make it up the street, its vibrating, shaking, and won't stay running. It stops at every light and while sitting. Then they proceed to “ offer” me the option to change the air filter “to see if that helps”. Little did I know it was not offered to help rectify the damage they caused because o had to pay an additional $30 on top of the $90 oil change. How convenient to “offer” the one item I declined originally as a solution to the problem. This place is sketchy and damaged my car and won't take accountability. This place deserves zero stars

This location would not honor the coupon that corporate provided and charged extra for oil. They tell you anything over 5 quarts is extra and of course my car needs. 5.9 quarts. Anything to scam a customer. Manager Austin just blames corporate. I would not recommend this location at all unless you want to be ripped off.

If you value your car - DO NOT GO TO TAKE 5 IN BRIDLEWOOD FOR AN OIL AND FILTER CHANGE. These people are totally incompetent bozos. Problem #1: My car is a Kia Soul, 2015 with 2L engine. The Crankcase takes 4.1 Litres of oil. These idiots put in over 5.3 Litres. I have no idea why my engine didn't blow a seal. Photo of the oil I drained out attached. (Trustpilot doesn't let me upload photos). Problem #2: They got the biggest and dumbest employee to reef the filter on with as much force as they could muster. I had to crush the filter with a hammer so that I could grip it to spin it with a vice grip to twist it off. Filters are supposed to be 'FINGER TIGHT'. Photo attached. (Trustpilot doesn't let me upload photos). Problem 3: They used the cheapest and smallest Chinese filter on the planet. It probably cost them between 50 cents and $1. I'm being generous. The name on it is 'Service Champ'. Never heard of it. It was 30% smaller than the proper size Fram or Purolator or Mann filter. I estimate the total cost to TAKE 5 for the lowest quality oil available, at around $7, and $1 for the total garbage filter = $8. They charged me $60. Deal with these clowns at your peril. I never will again.

I went to the Take 5 in Austintown, OH for a routine oil change, and shortly after my vehicle began making awful noises. When I returned, the staff documented that the oil filter had been improperly installed and was leaking. They replaced it and told me “all is well”. Concerned, I took my vehicle to Kia for inspection. Their technicians found metal debris in both the improperly installed oil filter and the replacement filter, as well as in the oil pan. They also noted loss of lubrication and confirmed internal engine damage requiring a full engine replacement. I have now been without my vehicle since January. A claim has been ongoing through their third party claims dept, Fleet Response, who has told me the push back is coming from Take 5 not wanting to take full accountability for the damages. It is now April and I am still waiting for approval for repairs and have not even been provided a rental vehicle. This situation remains unresolved and has been extremely disruptive to my daily life.

This is ridiculous as they suck out the oil change filter but what about any sludge that would drain out when oil plug is removed. Service people are friendly but prices are way too high for that type of service.
