Take 5 did not have the 0w-30 oil that my car requires. They told me to go to the auto parts store, buy the oil, then come back and they would change it for $60!! That's a $120 oil change for what they told me would cost $75 on the phone! I'll do it myself! !

Called prior to going to service center; had own oil & filter- asked the out-the- door price minus sales tax- was told $47.99. When I got there charged shop fees of $8.98. I called to complain and was redirected to customer service hotline - on hold for 35 minutes with no resolution and put complaint to upper management- waste of time. Will never use again and will be a loud sounding board that I would not recommend. First and Last time!

I had an excellent experience at the Take 5 location in Mooresville! Austin, Brandon, and Rico did an outstanding job taking care of all my car needs, including an oil change, filters, and a coolant issue. They were professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout my visit. They even offered me water and made sure I felt well taken care of. The prices were great compared to other places, and the service was exceptional. I really appreciate how well Austin, Brandon, and Rico took care of me and my vehicle. I highly recommend this location!

Great service

Was quoted a price of $250 and ended up paying $130 for oil change and coolant flush. The men working said they couldn’t take cash and ask how much I COULD pay. They wouldn’t take my coupon and acted shady the whole time. Will never ever use Take 5 again and will tell others to avoid as well

Beware of this company I took my truck to get oil change in August and found oil in the drive way took truck back and they kept telling me it was residual oil come to find out after going there 3 times THEY FORGOT TO PUT OUL CAO BACK ON so the bought new one and won’t pay for oil clean up in my drive way or engine piss poor company

Went to add some oil at the San Jose Blvd Jacksonville, FL location which they offer. The oil was low right after the change I paid for. The female attendant never measured the dipstick to get an idea of how much. That was my first observation. She then poured in a full quart. I knew I didn’t need a quart. She showed me the dipstick as they do, and it was clearly way overfilled. I told her you never checked the dipstick first. She replied that for low oil they always add a quart. She then was annoyed as I told her it has to be between the dipstick marks and had to remove oil. She removed oil 3 times before I was shown dipstick with the proper level. Each time, she tried to convince me it was normal when it was still overfilled. Another employee then took over and handled it. Overfill of oil will damage and blow your engine quickly. Thankfully I was aware. Always check your dipstick right after an oil change by anybody but yourself. DO NOT trust these incompetent employees at Take 5 oil change. I will once again return to doing the oil changes myself. At a minimum, check the dipstick yourself. These Take 5 oil change places do not care. If your engine blows due to overfill, there is no way you can hold them responsible and they know that.

I thought I was at my old Grease Monkey with 2 coupons (oil and air filter), but the place was now a Take 5. I was treated like an idiot because I didn't know about staying in the car, etc. There is no waiting room, so they have a fan that blows in your window while you wait. It is Florida in the summer!!! I couldn't get a straight answer about pricing before I was already in. I needed an air filter so I said okay. They charged me $33 for it. They had a $25 special for the oil change at least. But would not accept Grease Monkey's $15 off an air filter. No way would I ever go back.
