Get Bent Over Elsewhere-Indefensible Customer Treatment
Started great. Picked out a watch online, confirmed availability and pricing, made an appointment for transaction, got certified funds and even SHOWED UP 25 MINUTES EARLY at 2:05 PM on a Tuesday. Cop out front told me I wasn't "on the list" and had to call from the front door. So I did. Was told the salesman was not available so I HAD TO WAIT OUTSIDE ON ONE OF THE COLDEST DAYS OF THE YEAR. Sure I was holding a certified check and wanted to buy a 20k watch immediately, the salesguy told me "Doctors don't see you early...." DOCTORS DON'T MAKE YOU WAIT OUTSIDE. Don't care where you go, but I don't reward this kind of customer treatment with my $$$$.

Hi Joshua, We are happy to hear that everything started out great – that you were able to select a watch from our extensive collection online and confirm pricing and availability with one of Watch Consultants. We operate by appointment only, as this approach allows us to give each client dedicated one-on-one attention from a Watch Consultant and ensure the timepieces you’re interested in are ready for viewing when you arrive. Unfortunately, when you arrived early for your scheduled appointment, we could not immediately invite you into the Showroom as we have limited space and strict security protocols. For most people, this is not an issue, and they are okay to wait until we are able to bring them in. We’d be happy to assist you again – whether in person or virtually – and help you find the perfect watch. Please note, however, that we cannot accept certified checks – only cash, credit card, bank wire, Affirm, PayPal or Amazon Pay. — The SwissWatchExpo Team

My second purchase from Swiss Watch…
My second purchase from Swiss Watch Expo was not satisfactory. The watch was not accurately described as a hand wind watch. It was described as 38MM x 38MM which is obviously not a common measurement in the USA. I wore it once and decided it was not right for me and talked to SWE and I was told they would buy it back at a 30% discount when I requested a full refund or store credit for another watch. They obviously do not have a liberal return policy as claimed.

Doug, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to clarify a few key points about your purchase. Automatic Watches Do Not Use Batteries: The watch you selected is an automatic mechanical watch, which is accurately described on the listing. Automatic watches do not contain batteries and are powered by wrist movement, with the option to hand-wind. This is standard across the watch industry. 38 mm Is a Standard, Universal Measurement: The case size-38.0 mm-was listed exactly as measured and according to standard watch-industry specifications. This is the same measurement format used by all major Swiss brands, retailers, and service centers. Return Policy: Our return policy is clearly published and applies uniformly to all customers. Once a watch has been worn, it can no longer be returned for a full refund because it is no longer in unworn, sellable condition. For that reason, a buy-back option was offered, consistent with our policy. The item was accurately represented, and our team followed the same procedures for returns that apply to every transaction. If you need more instructions, or any help operating the watch, we are just a phone call away. - SwissWatchExpo

Try them first
Over the past year I have had more than 10 watches traded/purchased from SwissWatchExpo. Vlad has always been my advisor and I have nothing but good things to say about him. Responsive, understanding, knowledgeable, personable; it makes the whole buying/trading in timepieces fun to do and stress-free. The price quoted is fair and their inventory is huge. The first place for me to go to if I am looking for a watch
