SWA SabersReviews of swasabers.com

Here is a simple way to put this: I paid nearly $400 for nothing. I email support and got no answers, did their chat bot thing and got nowhere, and now I’m ghosted. I waited patiently, mainly due to my embarrassment at having fallen for a scam, but it’s been over a year with nothing. I bought these so my husband and I could duel at our wedding later that year. Ordered them in March, got the confirmation email and everything. Never came even to this day. Delivery address and everything else was right, but nothing was ever shipped. To make matters worse it keeps asking me for a review… so here it is: this was the most expensive mistake I’ve ever made. Stop asking for a review. I left them unblocked in case a miracle happened, but I just keep getting asked for a review.

Update: More scam behavior. SWAsabers issued a store credit refund, but i am unable to use the 77% code that was used to make the original purchase. So, now they have my $$ tied up in my shopify account. It cant be transferred to another person or used at another store. If i attempt to purchase the swa pixelblade starter saber, i originally ordered, that store credit barely covers a fourth of the cost while i appreciate the gesture of the refund, store credit without the 77% off discount code is unacceptable. 100% a scam. They sent the wrong cheaper item. They have zero support and don't respond to their info at swasabers dot com email address. Do not order from this company. They're likely drop shipping items from a chinese warehouse anyways, they aren't making these themselves.

Without question the worst customer service ive experienced in ANY online store to date. Got suckered in with their "buy 1 get 2" deal. The count down for the deal on the website is a fomo lie tactic. The "3-5" delivery promise advertised on their website and purchase screen is also a lie. Weeks later and im still waiting on my 600$ DOLLAR ORDER. When customer service was contacted I was told it was because of some unspecified Chinese holiday. That then suggests that the validity of this being an "American" company is also a half truth and therefore a lie. This company DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR MONEY. Spend it safely with another company that is and does what they say they are. 1 star and significantly less if i could.

I quickly jumped on their buy 1 get 2 free offer, as it had a limited number, but didn't realise it was an American shop and that I'd have to pay additional tax. On the same day I placed the order I wrote them an e-mail informing them of this and askad for a cancellation. They then proceeded with processing the order (I understand this might be an automated step) and they have charged my card, but haven't replied to my e-mail. They could at the very least reply and and explain what options (if any) I had, but this level of customer service deserves 1 star. UPDATE: After over a week I still haven't heard from the company. They have charged my card and proceeded with the shipment (which is currently on hold until the VAT is payed, I assume). When I ordered the products, I was under the impression it was a limited offer, as the website said about a 20 hours were left. For the past two weeks I have been seeing the same offer over and over again. It's false advertisement to instill a sense of urgency in the peruser. I lean towards the latter. UPDATE 2: SWA Sabers replied to me here, not by my e-mail. They have informed me the "Buy 1 get 2 free" offer is a final-sale offer. That's news to me, so I checked out their purchse flow, and it's not clearly informing the customer of this before payment. If you read "Terms of Service" (which is where I'd assume such information is to be found) there's no mention of final sale. Under "Cancellationa" you can read that it's not possible and that that's clearly outlined during checkout... considering the only mention of such practice is under "Refund policy" and that it's a link I have to click, I'd argue it's not "clearly outlined" but rather hidden outside view. They told me they went forward with the shipment in spite of not having the VAT request fulfilled. That's a half truth. I have received a DHL tracking ID. Following this I can see that the package hasn't been picked up yet. It's been more than 3-5 days. They also asked me to update this review once I have the sabers in hand. This won't happen. Because I will not get them before VAT has been paid. I refuse to pay VAT because of bad business practice (not clearly informing of final sale practice and false advertisement), so I will never get them in hand. Regardless this is a review of the company, not the product. I'm sure the product is excellent. The customer service and sales practice is not. Even if I should receive the sabers and be fully satisfied with the quality, the review would reflect this and be no more than three stars. And actual cancellation and full refund would fare better.

I bought the buy 1 get 2 free, I never received them as the delivery company claimed to have lost them in the warehouse. No response from SWA at all, currently getting my money back from my bank as they suspect they are running a scam. Do not waist your money. Update SWA SABERS finally responded after seeing this review, they managed to find the package after communicating with the delivery company, not me directly, and sent me just an update of the order. No apology for the bad service, or the package being late. It’s very disappointing that they’ll only respond to you when you write a bad review about them and not when you e-mail them to ask for help. Despite the goods being good quality, my original score is still a one because of Poor communication and poor customer service on both their part and the delivery company’s. I hope in the future they learn to communicate with their customers better and use a more reliable delivery service. As for my fraud claim, I did update the bank and told them I have received the package. However they still want to look into this as there have been several claims they’ve received from this company.

Placed an order for a buy one get two free. As I live in England almost instantly got a second email asking for extra money for the VAT. Although is no doubt in the small pri t I think it should have been disclosed and includes in the original invoice after shipping was confirmed. Anyway, I have made the purchase but as typical then come across these reviews. Which concern me as require the products a lot sooner than the 2 months some have been waiting. Have contasted customer services within an hour of purchase to cancel the order but informed that is not possible as has entered the fulfilment process. I asked them for assurance that I would receive this in the 3-5 business days a d update me on shipping and only got a reply saying dispatched....strange as they say they are not off the shelf products so to go from order to dispatch within an hour so cant be cancelled? Please explain that and assure these are not just rebadhed off the shelf chinese imports? However, although you say dispatched, you havent said shipped or sent tracking information yet. I have ordered from swasabers.com website and can sign on on there and see my order. It wont allow me to share the info email address i have communicated with but maybe worth you adding it to your responses on here then customers can see if they have been talking to the right SWA Sabers Please can you confirm that contact email is correct as may help myself and/or others that may be talking to a scammer etc. I will happily amend and review this rating should my purchase arrive timely manner (as you have said cant cancel as dispatched i would expect tracking information within 24 hours), with all correct parts, screws and accessories etc. I do hope and appreciate that a lot of these bad reviews are because of scam sites and not the actual SWA sabers.

I made an order from the official site in July and I am still waiting and the order has been ready since jun 5 and it is currently September and I have been getting ignored for 2 months now

Most obnoxious 10 minute advertisements Update: interesting they respond the same day to my comment, but not to the 1 star reviews calling them out for slow/ non existent customer service emails months after ordering.
