Hello, Deb - I'm so sorry for your experience, and how this has complicated your travels. You can call the number on the back of the card to speak with an agent and request a refund or alternative card. The gift cards themselves are working correctly, but Choice Hotels made updates to their point of sale system and aren't able to accept the cards. We suggest calling Choice Hotels to voice your dissatisfaction.

Hi, Mr. Herring - Thank you for speaking with our Customer Service team. As they explained, the funds are on hold until that pending (bogus) charge clears. I know it seems ridiculous for just 7 cents, but the rules are established by the payment networks (Visa and Mastercard) and don't have a minimum threshold. Once the pending charge clears off (which could be 7-10 business days), you'll be able to use the full $25 value. I don't have enough information to know how the charge was created or when specifically it will clear. I'm sorry for this experience, and appreciate your patience while waiting for it to clear.

I'm terribly sorry about your experience. As you may be aware, the USPS experienced significant delivery issues throughout the fall and winter. As our website indicates, we can't control USPS delivery issues or lack of tracking, and we suggest using trackable options from FedEx. In good faith, we refunded your purchase to remedy the situation. I understand it doesn't put the cards in your son's hands on Christmas day, but it helps bring you back to "whole." I apologize for our missing communication and will investigate that issue.

Hi, Micah. I'm sorry for your experience. Typically, a benefit of using eGift cards is the quicker delivery and distribution than traditional cards. However, sometimes business processes get in the way of delivering as quickly as we would prefer. We need to make sure payment for the cards has cleared, clarify delivery, and we only process orders on business days.

Thank you for shopping with SVM. As a gift card reseller, we have different capabilities with our partner brands (ie. Shell). As our Customer Service team explained, we cannot refund Shell cards because we do not have access to their refund systems. We cannot speak to Shell's policies or their representatives. We're sorry you weren't satisfied with your experience, but hope you can understand the challenge in refunding cash-equivalent products when a customer changes their mind about a purchase.

Mr. Faraz - I'm sorry for your experience. We were messaging on Facebook, but you stopped responding. The back of every card we sell includes directions to contact Customer Service. If you're having trouble with a card or an order, there are also additional contact channels listed on our website. I've asked you repeatedly to explain your issue, but you only want to repeat your claim that we are "scammers" and "cheaters."
