Melissa - this is Wes, the owner of Sun Valley Saunas. I am terribly sorry about the lack of customer service you've experienced. Unfortunately saunas do get damaged and cracked during delivery and we do our best to send out replacement components when that happens. Golden Designs, the manufacturer, did send you a replacement roof which you rejected. I understand you didn't want to deal with a whole new roof, but Golden Designs doesn't have just the one piece of wood on its own to send out as a replacement, so they sent the whole roof, including a brand new component to replace the one that was broken. As we discussed on the phone, Sun Valley Saunas is happy to give you a $150 refund to resolve this issue. Regarding the heating elements, Golden Designs is simply trying to troubleshoot what is causing the two heaters to not work prior to sending out new replacement pieces. I'm sorry this has been so frustrating. I will work with them to make sure that you have a working sauna and that the two heaters work properly or get replaced. Sun Valley Saunas is located in Ketchum, Idaho and Golden Designs is located in Southern California. We don't have contractors or workers to send out where you are located to fix the problems you've experienced, so working through email and over the phone to troubleshoot is what we're able to do. However, if it becomes necessary to find someone locally to help you get your sauna up and running I am happy to work with you on that. You can call me at 877-609-3641 or email me at [email protected] as we work through this.

Andrea - I am terribly sorry about the heaters and the roof. We have requested replacements from SunRay Saunas, the manufacturer, and they will be sending those out. SunRay said the heaters are supposed to be back to their warehouse this week and then they will ship everything out to you. I'm sorry that you haven't heard from them on this and I will make sure they get in touch with you. I also spoke to your husband this morning to let him know the status of everything. I'm confident once you have the heaters and roof resolved you're going to be really happy with your sauna. I appreciate your order and thanks for the honest feedback. -Wes
