I have never been more dissatisfied with a company than I was with Suntrek Solar. I met with the son of the owner and signed an agreement for them to install pool solar and solar panels for my electrical. The pool solar was done first, and it was a fiasco. Very unprofessional behavior, they decided to change the agreed upon plan without my permission, quality of the work was poor, and it took a long time to get the job done. I was so dissatisfied with this company I decided I didn't want them to do the solar for electric. The agreement required a $1,000 deposit, and even though I paid more than that for the pool solar, they still charged me the full $1,000. They sent me to collections and during my phone conversation with the owner, Roy, he threatened to sue me personally for the $1,000 and all legal fees too. Without my permission, he put me on speaker phone during that conversation, and the whole office personnel laughed after the threat. I was appalled. I couldn't more strongly recommend you choose a different company for solar. These people are unethical to say the least.

I returned the hose reel, because when I opened the top to attach the hose, the top came off in my hands.

We put in a solar pool a few years ago. Except for the first year l, it has not worked properly. When we called for help, we were charged and it still doesn’t work. We never saw a difference on our electric bill. Very disappointed

They said they will call back to set up an appointment but never did.

Did not stand behind their guarantee. They are dishonest and not to be trusted. I would run from them fast, there are plenty of good honest businesses out there, don't be fooled by this company.

They could not deliver what they promised. Delayed and finally confessed our jacuzzi could not be heated with their design/system and this experience cost us $ 1,726.00 and we have nothing to show for.

Their systems are not the best on the market and they are expensive for what you get. In addition, they way they install is by gluing to the roof shingles, I was sold by suntrek that this was a good thing, but after talking to expert roofers they disagree. Suntrek has changed the way they attach to your roof but now they charge and arm and a leg for the system that helps them to attach to a rail. I had to take my solar pool panels off the roof for a remodel and to have suntrek take them off and put back on was about as expensive as getting a new system with a competitive panel and installer. The competitor was the winner of my business, but I feel suntrek lost out on my business and there was some bad goodwill here. They could have been more helpful with this pricing and they would have had a happy customer instead of not at all. In addition, they never really worked that well when they were on my roof, pool barely got to 80 degrees. With my new panels, I am at 83 on a regular basis. Dont waste you money here!

I'm giving them one star, which could be a little harsh. The system itself has held up relatively well but the installation was a mess as they didn't do several major things that were included in the original order (including replacing the pump, they just connected to the old one even though I had paid for a new one!). Had I not reviewed everything post installation, I never would have known. After several phone calls and finally going back to the sales person (who was great by the way) they acknowledged this and came out and fixed everything. I've tried to avoid interaction with the company since then. The hardware itself seems to be working well, heating a large/deep pool despite the panels all facing east. I'm not sure about durability as we've had the system for a few years now and it seems to be getting more brittle with the sun (the panels are soft rubber). But if it lasts I will probably be satisfied as a customer.
