We purchased our FIRST Amplify III in early 2022 and really enjoyed it. We installed it in our heated garage (in MN). Our only real complaint was that air leaked in around the door and your legs/feet never really got warm. In July 2026 we built a new home and once again purchased our SECOND Amplify III and installed it within our home gym area. FYI, the Amplify III says it is for 3 people which I question, but it is very roomy for 2 people. The new generation of the Amplify III has several improvements; namely they have added an additional heater on the back wall under the seat and significantly enhanced the insulation around the door - all of this has significantly improved how hot the sauna can get (including the floor area!!!). It heats up much faster! I also like the improved LED lighting inside the sauna. I also like the easy pairing of the stereo to a mobile device (easier than old model), but do wish there was volume control inside the sauna as you shouldn't bring your phone inside the sauna. Finally, I also like how in the new generation of the sauna it remembers the setting of the heaters- this is really important when using the timer (as the old model would default to not having intense heaters on when we want them on to heat it up faster). Have we had any issues with our new sauna? Yes! I do question some of the quality control that Sunlighten has in their construction and shipping as follows: 1) The first issue we experienced with our 2nd sauna was that we had a first unit delivered that had several parts that were damaged. While some of that could have occurred from the contracted shipping company other parts of it were clearly pre-shipping because there was a hole in one wall that was between 2 pieces of heavy cardboard which had absolutely no damage to them. BTW - they do an incredible job of packaging the unit (be ready to haul a ton of heavy cardboard to the recycling center). It was also not until we had most of the sauna unpacked that we also realized they had shipped the unit in eucalyptus and not basswood. Sunlighten was very good about picking everything up and delivering a new (correct) sauna without any damage - and it only took about 10 days. 2) The second issue is with the unit we installed. There is a mesh over the Infrared panels that was inconsistently applied/stretched. Any upholsterer would be horrified at how crooked some of it is lined up. Our old sauna looked good. I called customer care and did a live video share so they could see exactly what I was seeing. The representative (who was very pleasant) went and checked what was in the warehouse and he said that it was the same thing on other units and very specifically said that that (upon asking someone else) that having "pattern" of fabric visually align was not something they tried to do when assembling it. Quite frankly I think it makes it look cheap (which it is not), but since it doesn't impact the performance I am content just to include it in the commentary of my review. In Summary, would we buy it again? Yes. There are other very good infrared sauna's out there and Sunlighten could continue to learn a thing or two from, but this is a very nice high quality sauna (and I say this even though I question some of their QA controls).

Great experience, but in hindsight, you should have tried to upsell me.

Love the sauna and only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because I didn’t realize that the tech TV screen inside was only Android so it doesn’t allow for me to use my Apple Store apps like Apple Music or Apple TV. Wish I could’ve been given a choice.

Sales team was excellent. Matt Was a great help. Your wiring diagram and set up needs to be improved. Code stickers were missing and it caused me to have to take the floor out and re wire. The two outside red lights were not functioning properly. That being said the customer service agent pretty much Knew the problem and directed with a picture photo what he thought it was. He was correct. I still had to figure out where the right side facing went as the # were not all applied. That being said the unit is well built and seems to work as they said it would when I bought it.

The sales process was smooth an efficient although it can be difficult to purchase something like this without seeing it in person. I found my salesperson to be very helpful on the front end but very slow to help resolve issues on the back end. Nevertheless, he did address our problem head on and ultimately was resolved to our complete satisfaction.

Everything about Sunlighten products has been satisfying. I only regret that the sales associate did not recommend I buy the pad cover and pillow cover for my Solo system at the same time I ordered the sauna. Now I have to wait for it to arrive and pay a little extra shipping.

Absolutely love our mpulse sauna and red light mask! After 3 weeks of using it, I’m already noticing improvements. The customer service agent and sale representative we spoke with were both outstanding. The reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the install and delivery. We had issues with our delivery driver since our road was being worked on and they told us they were going to leave it on the corner. There was a lot of back and forth. I wish there was an option to have someone put it together for you because it is not easy. It is extremely heavy and I could never imagine an older person being able to do this. For the price of the sauna, this definitely should be an option. Overall, I’m very glad we chose the sunlighten brand.
