I was just testing the waters when I contacted Sunlighten about purchasing our first infrared sauna. I had never used one and was skeptical about the claims made by various manufacturers. But as I reviewed independent medical analyses, the claims of health benefits were supported by trusted sources like Mayo Clinic. The rep from Sunlighten was very knowledgeable about their product and willing to put together comparisons with the competitive models I was looking at. After dragging my feet, she was willing to honor a prior sales price (and I sprung for the accessory package). I was a little bummed to be told it would take three months to arrive, but then it showed up a month early - just in time for the polar vortex and snow storms to arrive. Could not have been better timing! My wife and I unpacked and carried all the components through the house and down the basement where we assembled it in about an hour. The hardest part was removing the top panel on the roof to connect the wires after it was set in place because we have it backed into a spot just wide and tall enough to accommodate it. I had to climb up on the storage shelves next to the unit and sprawl across the roof to get to the far corner. Other than that, it was a piece of cake. Build quality is flawless. High-grade materials. Intuitive functionality. We've both used it already and could not be happier. Who needs a beach when you can have Sunlighten?! Absolutely recommend!
