I never write reviews. However, my experience was absolutely horrible and I felt writing this is important. This review actually deserves ZERO STARS but it is not an option! No one else should lose their hard earned money to this company!!! This review is long but please read to the end. It may save you hundreds of dollars! I purchased a mPulse aSPIRE single person sauna (paid over 6K) on 10/31/22 to put in a bathroom that was being renovated. They said it could take 2-3 weeks to deliver. I did not hear from them regarding shipping or status for weeks. No emails. No updates. No tracking. Week 3 I reached out to check the status and was told someone from logistics would get in touch with me. Another week went by (now we are 4 weeks into my purchase) with NO word from anyone. I again contact my sales person, Erik. Finally, Sunlighten's logistics team emails on 11/29/22. They said "We are currently preparing your sauna for shipment! Once it is ready to ship, you will receive an email notification. It should be leaving our warehouse by the end of the week. From there it will take about 7-10 days to you area. After it arrives in your area, the 3rd party delivery company will call you to schedule an exact delivery date." At this point I told them that it is ridiculous that the sauna has not even left the warehouse and my contractor who was working on my bathroom has come and gone and since that I have not received any updates on my purchase and the fact that it is still sitting in your warehouse that I am cancelling for a full refund. Now they are immediately responding and change their tune and tell me that miraculously the "sauna just arrived into my area and if I feel eager I can reach out to the delivery hotline." I reach out to the delivery hotline and they have NO travel history for the sauna or reference number Sunlighten has provided. I again tell Sunlighten I am cancelling my order, they are not being transparent and I want a full refund. Erik is rude. I ask to speak to a manager. I get a call from Rene, a senior sauna consultant. She wants to make it right and says that they have new people working and mistakes were made. She says she can see in "real time" where the sauna is and it can be delivered to me soon. I decline and request a refund. She says there will be costs involved in returning. The administrative fees, restocking fee and shipping would usually be $1567.88 but they will do me a courtesy and only charge shipping and a 3% restocking fee to equal $783.94!!!! AND that I will only get a refund once unit has been retuned back to their warehouse! It wasn't shipped so what am I paying the shipping fees for??? I tell them it is fair for me to pay the 3% restocking fee plus the 3% administrative fee which equals $371.88. As far as I know, it ever left their warehouse! I repeatedly asked for tacking information and they said they could not provide it. Rene became snarky and rude when asking for tracking. Rene assured me the unit was to arrive back any day but they did not have ANY tracking information to provide. They also insisted that I will only get my refund once the unit arrives back to them!!! Why would I have to wait for their internal logistics to get my money back? I had no communication or tracking information of the shipping details?!?! THEN 6 weeks into my purchase I get a call from the delivery company telling my they have a sauna to deliver! Was it shipped after I cancelled my order? I will never know since they declined to share any shipping details!!!! They held on to my money and refunded an unfair amount. This company is unbelievably dishonest.

I wanted to buy a Sunlighten and was prepared to do so. However, the sales style was so pushy and price threatening if you don’t act right away. That’s the reason I walked away.

Nice sauna, android operating system is total junk. Couldn’t have a simple ON/OFF switch that would be to easy. Using “symbols” for prompts rather than english is a definite disadvantag. Not everyone understands “code” If their not going to do something about it don’t buy it. I’ve owned it less than a year and have had to call 4 times for support.

Customer service too slow to respond. No solutions Sauna too slow to heat up, takes almost 2 hrs to reach 130degrees. Unacceptable. I wouldn’t buy again if I had known this. Tried contacting again on website, 10 days no response.

The team could use some more training and grace while communicating with it's customers.

Super rude sales people. As soon as they get your phone number they text and call nonstop. Last year I went through it and finally talked with someone whose was pushy and aggressive with her sales tactics. That method doesn’t work on me and makes me not want to buy anything. This year I wanted to know what the updated prices were as I am interested in exploring a sauna again. I actually asked for no texts or phone calls on their online form, but please use email. Well, I got multiple texts and phone calls right away, no emails. When I responded and asked the sales person to not text/call me I was texted a super rude reply saying that I’m not the kind of person they want to work with if a “friendly” text bothers me and that they hope my life gets better as it’s Christmas after all, “lol”. Are you serious? I put up a boundary that I didn’t want to be harassed with sales calls and then the sales person (Scott) tries to shame me about that choice or make it seem like my life must be unhappy because I’m unhappy with him not respecting my boundaries. Wow. That’s even more of why it’s not ok that I’m getting texts from this company.

I was told one thing and then sold another. I thought I was buying the best model with the top features but it turns out I paid too much for the losest quality sauna ever. I could have saved thousands of dollars by buying my sauna on Amazon Prime.

My sauna has never worked properly and the support is more about kicking tickets around than someone addressing the fundamental issue is the sauna doesn't work and the part sent do not work because there is a systematic wiring failure that Sunlighten refuses to acknowledge
