If I could leave zero stars, I would. We were going to purchase an Amplify sauna and then order separate red light panels. The salesperson told us that MPulse has red lights, so we thought, "Amazing! We can get exactly what we want in one sauna!" Turns out the MPulse doesn't get above like 135 degrees even after a ton of time preheating it. The Amplify at our spa gets to 165 easily. How difficult would it have been for the saleslady to say, "Just so you know, the MPulse doesn't get very hot." So now we're stuck with a "warm" box which is not at all what we wanted. Also, the packing and delivery was a nightmare. Unrecyclable styrofoam fragments everywhere! The app only works sporadically. Also, I only received 2 of the 4 accessory items that I purchased. We've been on hold FOREVER trying to find out why our spa never heated up, only to find out that it wasn't ever going to. SO frustrating. Buyer beware. PS. I know I'm going to get the same "customer service non-response". Please don't even bother writing it. It's just a waste of time for both of us. PPS. We contacted customer service anonymously as a potential customer and they said this unit should easily get to 140-150. Ha! Then another rep said to add weatherstripping and to throw moving blankets on top and over the back to keep it warm. It did get warmer but then ANOTHER rep told us this might damage the unit. How frustrating! When it’s only in the upper 130’s it almost causes you to be chilled (like the after effects of a hot flash) and it’s SO uncomfortable. So disappointed.

I purchased the Amplify II because of the high heat it achieved. I just received it a week ago and we have been trying to get it up to the 165° temperature they advertise on their website. I called customer service today and they sent me the following information. They do not recommend taking the unit above 150° and say that it's max temperature is 155°. The 10° make a difference and it's what they advertised. Here is the text I received. In addition to not reaching the temperature, they advertise, it can take three hours to reach the 155° mark. Not exactly fast. Amplify Max temperature = 155°F (68°C) Average temperature (still producing great results for the customer) = 150°F (65°C) Heating Times Allow the sauna to pre-heat for at least 30-40 minutes. These times are starting at a room temperature of 75°F (23°C). The sauna heats up at an average of 1 degree per minute. After 135°F (57°C) is reached the temperature should take between 3 and 5 minutes per degree. Amplify saunas will heat between 150°F and 155°F (65°C - 68°C).

I had inquired, and the moment passed. They badgered me, and then called to just hang up on me. Sorry that I changed my mind, but that was after their website misrepresented what they offered. They don't have to treat me rude...shame on them, both the lady from yesterday, and the one from this morning. I am the exact type of customer they want to try and win over... UPDATE since posting this comment - I was again called by them, and immediately hung-up on again. Silly considering I can easily pull up my phone logs and show all the calls and quick disconnects. Very childish...

I ordered my sauna on 10/23, received the first damaged shipment on 11/5, was told I would have a new box coming to replace the damaged box and as of 11/27 I still don’t have it. Logistics missed the replacement request from my salesperson and we spent days going back and forth about whether I was even getting a replacement. Hopefully the sauna is worth it but customer service is TERRIBLE.

Our sauna hasn’t worked properly from Day One. And the warranty doesn’t include a technician coming to your home to fix anything or troubleshoot. We hired the gentleman referred to us by Jeremiah at SUNLIGHTEN to put it together in our home (note: they do not put the sauna together for you - SUNLIGHTEN only has someone drop it in your garage and no further, and they expect you to put it together with a “how-to” video - which is sort of shocking given it’s a $10,000 machine, in our case). I’ve tried to reach out to Jeremiah who sold us the sauna, and he has decided not to respond to our efforts to reach out about remediating our non-working sauna he so happily sold us. The customer care team will reach out, but only to send you “how-to” steps on dismantling the heater panels and the wires, doing all sorts of tests, only to report back with more emails (one warning, “be careful not to burn yourself”). Our sauna now won’t even heat up past 80 degrees without immediately shutting down, and it hasn’t reached its full temperature for a full sauna session since it was put together in our gym. It’s maddening when all you want to do is relax and enjoy. We had so many good expectations for this sauna experience. We waited so long to pull the trigger on this for our health and well-being, and finally had the space and means to purchase, and now we can’t use it, and have no one to help solve the problem. We are extremely disappointed and saddened by the whole experience, and actually still have no resolve to the issue, it’s just sitting in our basement and they refuse to come to our property to help, which is why I wanted to write this review to warn others about what to expect.

After reading reviews on Reddit I asked if I should be alarmed about buying one no answer buy at your own risk

Not sure how this company got my phone number but they've been calling me for a week straight at all hours of the day I answered a few times and they just hung up right away, I tried calling them back and got hung up on 3 times before I finally got someone to stay on the line which I kindly asked if they could remove my number from their calling list and they said "k" and hung up the phone.

I ordered the sauna over the phone thru a rep. There was no discussion of types of wood or color. So I anticipated getting the one pictured on the website (brown with black accents). I figured that was the only one since it does not show any other options on the site. I received a very white wood that does not look good in my room, it also looks very cheap compared to what is pictured on site - even tho it comes with a $7,000 price tag. When I called to complain they just said well you should have checked the invoice before shipping - "it said we were shipping you Basswood". But how was I to know what basswood looks like or that their were two options if not on the website?? There wasn't much info on website only "get pricing" button. So i'm very very unhappy with this product. It also arrived with busted speakers so I am waiting on replacements for those. ****EDIT**** The company has reached out to make this situation right. I did appreciate the way this manager communicated and handled the situation. I am awaiting the correct sauna. I will update this review further once all is good. This will all be quite a bit more time and trouble I was hoping for and that my busy schedule allows for -with having to build, tear down, build again. Then the set up process on 2nd sauna with customer service so its settings are connected properly (that took quite a bit of time with the first one). But I'm hoping it will all be worth it in the long run. :)
