Me and my family was flying from Antalya to Beirut plane was at 7:45 AM. we spent 2 hours and a half on the check-in Line number 530 Antalya Airport. The guy on the check-in line was over slow, maybe his 1st day in that job. 6:53 we arrived at the check-in guy. they didn't accept to check in telling me that i am late 8 minutes. It was their fault. we missed the plane because of them. so we spent me and my family 18 hours at the airport and booked another flight to Istanbul and then from Istanbul to Beirut and arrived to Beirut at 12 AM and paid 1200$ for the new flight, i tried to contact Sun express and open a complaint but they didn't do anything. Never use Sun Express, bunch of liars and unprofessional.

Doesn't pay employees. The owner is very selfish. Has his business partner gz, to write multiple good reviews, so the company looks good. This is a way for him to get away, with having another company, and not paying his employees. DS is a fraud.

My holiday I booked with on the beach is nearing fast and as of now I still have no return flight as it was cancelled by sun express . On the beach are impossible to contact . Sun express are contactable but just pass the buck back to on the beach or are willing to charge you hundreds of pounds to give you an alternate flight which as the first flight is cancelled by them is a disgrace. I have written one review already and had no response so I’m writing another in the hope this gets sorted. I will write a one star review every day for the rest of my life just to show how unethical this company is if it doesn’t get sorted.

They booked my two young children on separate rows to their adults on a flight. When I rang to amend was told I'd have to pay to sit with my child. I can't fathom how we've got to a situation where this is even an occurrence.

Booked with the airline in January for a holiday in June. Received an email on 13/05/26 to say my flight from Dalaman - Birmingham was cancelled and had rebooked us onto the earlier flight. Rang the company to dispute as we purposely booked the later morning flight which was more expensive and asked for a partial refund for the inconvenience. The call representative misunderstood was I was ringing up about and had CANCELLED my entire flight. When I went on the website to rebook the same flight, it was more than we originally paid and the company would not reimburse me for their mistake. All the representatives I spoke to were all passive aggressive and not helpful at all. Will not be using this airline again.

Absolutely shocking experience with SunExpress. I will never fly with this airline again!!!. We booked SunEco tickets, which clearly included checked baggage (up to 20kg). However, when we arrived at Antalya Airport for our return flight to the UK, we were told we had no luggage allowance on our booking. Despite having proof, staff refused to acknowledge it and insisted we pay £202.43 on the spot or we wouldn’t be allowed to board. We were essentially forced into paying under pressure, with no real choice. This felt completely unfair and borderline extortionate. Thankfully, I managed to recover the money through my bank once back in the UK. What makes this even worse is that this isn’t a one off issue. The same thing happened last year we checked in online as instructed, yet at the airport we were told we hadn’t checked in and had to pay an extra €40. Clearly, there is a recurring issue with their system or processes, and customers are the ones paying the price. This airline appears to rely on confusing or misleading booking details and then charges passengers at the airport when they are most vulnerable. Completely unacceptable. Disorganised, unreliable, and dishonest practices. Avoid at all costs.

Not the worst but deffo not the best. Check in fine (online not available), didnt make a fuss about bags but i think they usually do (so be prepared). Felt quite cramped, full flight, very basic seats. The service onboard is my issue - the staff hid behind the curtain the whole flight (5hours). It was an early morning flight so granted I was sleeping but at least water offered when people wake up.
