StyleSeat currently charges clients a $2.35 booking fee for each appointment as part of its platform-wide policy. If a client cancels outside of the cancellation or no-show window, the booking fee is automatically refunded. Your monthly subscription continues to include features such as scheduling, payment processing, appointment reminders, and no-show protection. At the same time, we understand your concerns around payment flexibility and client attribution. For payment flexibility, you can opt out of Growth Features such as Touchless Payments, Deposits, Prepayment, Smart Pricing, Premium Appointments, and New Client Connection within your Payments & Policies settings. Once those are turned off, you can switch your default checkout setting to Manual, which allows you to accept cash or use an external payment processor during checkout. Please note that appointments already booked with Growth Features enabled will still process through automatic checkout unless rescheduled. Cash checkout is also available on the Premium plan. We also understand your concerns regarding how new clients are attributed to StyleSeat, especially when you are actively marketing your own booking link and building your clientele independently.
