Strike says deposit can’t be processed whenever I try to use the app. Tried contacting support no response. This is terrible

I opened a Strike account and wired money to my account. Strike representatives contacted me and asked me questions. I answered their questions. Next thing I know my Strike account was immediately closed and I received an internal app message stating my wire is rejected and I am no longer allowed to use Strike services. I would have no proof if I had not taken a snapshot of the apps messaging area of the wire rejection and account closure. None of the final message had been sent to my email, like the question/reveiw email had been. This was 8 days ago! Strike has yet to return my funds to my bank. What have I done to rectify? 1) I left a voice message on supports number. I no longer can leave messages and have not received a return call. 2) I have sent customer service several emails . Support has now asked for a second round of 1 to 3 day fund return. 3) I went to the bank filed a forced reverse wire. Bank states Strike has not communicated with them on the third day of reverse wire messages (today). 4) I sent an email to Mr. Mallers requesting for his help. I have not heard a response at all from Mr. Maller at this time. Will I get my money returned to me that I have worked all of my life for? All I wanted to do was to purchase Bitcoin. Be careful who you chose to do these purchases with.

I transferred in some money 3 days ago, on a Saturday, and far from the money appearing instantly on my account, I was asked some further questions about why and what I am planning to do with my BTC. I have given the info which I am sure is being prompted by the British Nanny State but I still can't trade and I also can't get my money back. BTC has moved several % and I have lost out. Not happy. KYC stuff needs to be done promptly or I'll stick to using Kraken.

If you know BTC you probably know about these guys already anyway. Jack is well known and is absolutely one of the good guys in the space. They don't mess around with shitcoins - they aim to be the best at BTC and that's what I think they have achieved. They pioneered features like tiny DCAing, lightning transfers in and out etc. This is the place to do everything BTC. I've been waiting for their UK launch for ages having used them in the US previously. That just happened and having signed-up and was able to buy and sell Bitcoin quickly and easily (following the mandatory Uk cooling-off period). I even followed Mr.Saylor's lead and was able to open a corporate account to invest some of my company treasury in the hardest asset there is. Word to the wise: companies like strike still rely on the legacy banking system to custody customer fiat funds (a good thing...see FTX for an example of how not to do it). These institutions are responsible for 90% of the kinds of issues I see folks complaining about here...stuck funds, verification issues etc. Strike do their best within a system that wants to work against them. I write this review to reassure folks who don't know who to trust that you can truly trust this team - I know this firsthand.

Simply the best bitcoin app. Moving all my bitcoin buying to Strike. Rapid £ deposits, good pricing, and all the lightning and bitcoin things I need. Plus the support is great. Thank you Jack for bring this to the UK finally!!

Final Update: Matter resolved, funds are received, apparently just some extra checkup. Very good and fast service would definitely recommend them!!! Stacking my says to the moon 22-06 UPDATE: They have asked for a picture holding my id and a paper with some text on it, apparently this is mandatory? Till now support is quite good and fast. Hopefully this comes to a good end. Will definitely change the rating after it has been solved! Having read a lot about strike on the net, i've decided to download it and see what all the fuss is about. Registering was quite simple aswell as the document verification. However, accepting me as a client and then restricting me ONCE i have deposited funds from my bank account is wrong. Simple, fast, cheap and just works.

Very dependable. Been an active user for 2+ years. Never had an issue with paying from bank account. Support was helpful and responsive when I had issues linking a specific bank a year ago. Best way to stack sats with low fees + spread and a free onchain send option! Strike is a pioneer in the LN space.
