Great place for college courses!

The classes are fast paced and easy to work with. Teachers are also helpful when it comes to feedback.

The classes are self-paced so that you can learn when you have the opportunity and can take the time that you need to master the material. Tutoring is available if you need it. I have really enjoyed the Straightline experience so far and am learning a lot from my course.

Working at my own pace is everything that made it very good plus not having to buy the textbook separately

I would not recommend StraighterLine to anyone, especially for a subject as complex as Organic Chemistry. I enrolled in what was advertised as a course, only to find there is no actual TEACHING or instruction provided. The few “lessons” consist of reading a textbook and taking quizzes, with a few robot-voice video clips that are seconds long — hardly what most students would consider a real class. When I reached out, they informed me NO ONE TEACHES CLASSES AND IT IS UP TO YOU TO LEARN! WTAF?! Nowhere in the enrollment process did it clearly state that there would be no teacher. Had I known this upfront, I would never have spent my money here. For a company to market this as a legitimate course is misleading at best, if not illegal. When I asked for a refund TWO DAY LATER, they said there is no refunds. I wonder why. Students deserve to know what they are paying for. If you are looking to actually learn a subject, I recommend you take your time and money elsewhere. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!
