Where do I even begin? I've had TPO for over a year, and there hasn't been a single month that I haven't had some kind of issue, if not a variety of issues. I've frequently had data issues- when each new month starts, my data doesn't activate. I often have to call customer support numerous times before the situation is resolved. And for some unknown reason, they don't have 24/7 support, which means if something happens with my account in the evening or on the weekends, which it often does, there's no one to help me. I've been stranded, unable to get home, because my data spontaneously deactivated, and there was no one I could call to help. Just the other day I had to add some data to my plan, so I paid $12 for 1gb of data. However, it wasn't working, even after I paid, so I called and said it was imperative that the situation be solved, because I had to use the data for my work. I was told the problem was fixed. However, when I left for work the data wasn't working. It was now after 6pm EST so I couldn't call anyone. I missed a day of work that was crucial to me being able to pay my bills on time. I called TPO the next day and was told that someone put the wrong data on my plan. When I said that the entire reason I paid $12 for that 1gb was for this single day of work, which I missed, and I asked if they could reimburse me since it was due to an error on their end, I was told no. This is only one of almost countless horror stories I've experienced. Stay far, far away.

Signal reception is surprisingly poor, even in NYC. Lots of important calls not going through & texts not received in real time. Very unreliable.

Agree with the negative review here. The customer service is non-existent. If you are happy with their service that means you never had to deal with their customer service. I got to the airport and realized that my service was shut off. I tried to contact the customer service and of course without my service I COULD NOT make the call. I tried to raise multiple tickets with them and still no answers. They do not have web chat like most carriers. There is no single phone at airport that I could use to make a phone call

Started with TPO in Aug 2017 and just terminated service on April 11. Discovered they were charging a sales an utility tax for a City where I don't reside. They researched, agreed with me, blamed a third party vendor, refunded the amount collected, but then kept collecting it month after month (crediting the previous month on the bill and charging it all over again). Billing is not transparent - you have to ask for detailed billing information. I'd be hard pressed to recommend the carrier.

Week perception, rude customer service, I have used this service for over a year. this is one of the worst companies. When your plan expires your phone be shut-down, NO option even to call the company to reup your service. you must find another phone or internet screen to reup. Sometimes you pay for the service and it wouldn't activate until you call them, alhough the money is taken from your account and your 30 days of your monthly plan is counting down. Similar to internet plan. Once your data is out it wouldn't go down to 2G, No, it will disconnect you completely. I had nightmares with TPO services.

I am in New York City. In Sept of 2017 I tried their "Kind" plan for 1 month which only cost $16 dollars (I was charged $19.77 with taxes and fees). That plan includes unlimited texts, 1000 minutes, and 500MB of 4G LTE high speed data. Of course I had no problem with texting. The first 2 phone calls had perfect quality but after that every phone call for the remainder of the month had good quality only for the first 10 seconds; after that trying to maintain a connection was useless. For the entire month I only got 2G data speeds which is practically no internet service at all. I never experienced 4G service. Their email tech support kept telling me to try different APN settings which I tried but nothing worked. Finally I gave up trying to use their horrible service and asked for a refund but they refused to give it to me. A friend of mine who works for the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) said Tmobile has taken on too many MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators), one of which is TPO, and as a result there is not enough bandwidth for all the customers to receive satisfactory service. Tmobile's primary customers (high priced plans) are getting high priority while their low priced plan customers are getting medium priority. Small time companies, like TPO, are at the bottom of the ladder getting the lowest priority (poor service). He said this will only improve when 5G internet service rolls out in about 2020. Before that everyone should stay away from most MVNOs like TPO. He also told me to file a formal complaint with the FCC to try to get my $19.77 back. I have done just that and I am waiting for the FCC to reply and act.

I have had three lines serviced by TPO in my family. I changed the credit card on file for automatic payments (the one on file expired), but was charged more when I made the change. I called and asked for an explanation from the customer service. The answer was that the taxes went up. As I was challenging the rep on how the taxes when up in just one day, she already charged the new card. I said if I did not have a satisfactory answer on the unexplained charge, I would leave along with the two other lines. She would neither answer my question, nor show any flexibility in crediting my account for the excess amount. So I told her that I decided to leave. She then puts a "fraud alert" on my wife's line so when she called to get a PIN for porting her number, she was unable to do so. Not only do they have a poor security for account authentication (your name, physical address, and e-mail address are the credentials needed to authenticate over the phone, where at least 145,000 US residents have this information compromised), if there is a "fraud alert" on your account, you would have a very difficult time to authenticate yourself as the rightful owner of the account! So rather than using meaningful and unique authentication methods, their weak system becomes a tool for them to harass you on the way out - as they do not have a proper way to identify, they resort to tedious methods of on-the-spot gut-feeling. TPO would likely come on top of the poorest customer service experiences ever in my life. Never coming back.
