I had dead zone at my home and work
I had dead zone at my home and work. It was different to pull up Google maps while driving. I cancelled after one month. You get what you pay for and the cheap TPO was just not worth it.

To transform something that people use everyday, their mobile phones, into a force for good. They launched it in late 2012 in the UK and it's been growing ever since. In January 2014, Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, joined the company. Our goal is to raise billions for good causes worldwide, delivering goodness with every connection made.10% of customers’ mobile bill is directed to their cause or charity of choice at no extra cost to them.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Unreliable, unprofessional, and inconsistent. The cell phone service itself worked just fine for six months, and then tanked. I was suddenly unable to send or receive texts, or use my data. I put up with it for six more months, thinking it was simply because I moved to a different town and had poor service. I finally got sick of it and asked TPO what was going on (via email, since the cell phone service was so painfully unreliable), and after waiting a week to hear back, they told me they no longer supported Verizon phones. Just flat out stopped. No courtesy email to their customers or anything. I got frustrated and requested a refund for the six months I had terrible cell phone service. They sort of complied by refunding 50%. It was better than nothing, so I decided to give them another chance. I bought a Sprint phone that worked on their network according to the compatibility check on their website, and requested a new SIM card. And what do you know, the sim card was invalid. I had absolutely zero service for another month while I attempted to resolve it with TPO's customer service, once again via email, with days, even weeks between responses. Apparently I couldn't activate the sim card because the account I set up was on a GSM network, and my new phone was CDMA. Surprise surprise, they can't switch an account to the other network, so I was stuck with no service unless I went through the trouble of registering a new account and ordering yet another SIM card. I finally got fed up, requested the final 50% of my refund, and the information needed to port my cell number over to a different provider. The issue was escalated to the manager of their customer service department, who assured me that the remainder of my refund would be mailed to me as soon as my account was deactivated. Two weeks following my deactivation, I still hadn't seen my refund. I asked for clarification on whether it was being mailed to me or they were depositing it back onto my debit card, and again, they didn't get back to me until almost a full week had passed. The Vice President of Operations promised an answer the next day, and then never responded. It has been two months. Two. Months. Still no refund. Don't be fooled by how pretty the website looks or how enticing the prices are. It is not worth the trouble of dealing with their customer service if anything goes wrong. It's like pulling teeth to get in contact with them at all, let alone get your problem resolved.

The inability of this company to properly on-board me with new service was completely astounding. Mysterious e-mails telling me to do one thing, then follow-up e-mails telling me to do quite another. In the end, I paid for a phone that I couldn't use, because they refused to activate the service -- and wouldn't explain why they refused. No wonder the stock price is down 97% in the past year. The company is broke, and I can certainly see why.

Horrible customer service. I attempted to move my service from kajeet. I talk to a representative that walked me through the porting process, told me it would take 24 hours to complete. I Paid for the first month. The next day the service was still unavailable. I spoke with two rude customer service preventatives. After that experience I would not dare spend my money there.

i recently moved to a new residence, which is approx 2 miles from my old residence. i don't have network @ new residence. so, my phone is pretty useless. i contacted tpo customer service & they said they have no control over the network. so, i decided to port out. I'm doing this in between billing cycles. since this is a prepaid a/c, i had paid the upcoming month's bill. after speaking with customer care, i learnt that if i port out 'in between', there are no partial refunds if there is ANY usage. this seemed ridiculous! I'm paying for a service that is non-working & which i'm not going to use. how correct is that? PS: i don't have good network @ my work place too!

Limited customer service hours. My charity never received a check from TPO. Their chip lasted six months and they wanted me to wait without phone service for two weeks for a new one. CSR told me no other options. CSR told me they couldn't correct caller ID on account.

I am rating based on the signal strength I got on my cell phone. Instead of using 10% to donate to charity, TPO should invest money on the quality of service including services from your employees. Your service is very lousy. I have a problem of accessing to my account, but had called up to eight people at TPO, and as of today, none of them could help me solve the problem.
