Long time loyal customer, dissappointed
I have used Nolo for more than 30 years. Generally their books are great. But when California rental/eviction law changed in 2024 after I purchased the 2024 Evictions book I went looking for updates on the web site. I tried the chat, only to be abruptly cut off the moment the representative found out that I wasn't looking for a lawyer. I was so dissuaded by the obvious sales tactic and failure to back up the product that I made the effort to post about this very disappointing experience.
