I am terribly disappointed in ADOBE…
I am terribly disappointed in ADOBE through my experience with Adobe stock. There is no such thing as a risk free / free cancellation trial. I was surprised to see a cancellation fee at the end of my trial. There was JUST NO WAY to cancel it. So I approached an agent by the name of Manraj(a really nice agent) and he told me that it is a system generated message. He then offered me a proposal, to sign up for one more month and he will extend 3 months worth of free subscription for me. After confirming with him about the cancellation fees, I was assured that there will be no cancellation fees incurred if I still wish to cancel my subscription. P.S. This is the plan I have signed up for. Adobe Stock – 750 assets a month S$263.22 After 4 months, I still feel that I have barely reached 200 downloads. It just does not makes sense for me to keep the subscription. Tried to cancel my subscription again and they wanted to charge me $900++ USD for cancellation fees. I approached an agent named Aman and he insisted that I will be charged a cancellation fee even after telling him that I was promised that I will be able to waive off the cancellation fee if I do not continue this plan. He was trying to convince me to sign up for a plan that cost $39 a month to download 10 images so that I will be able to continue downloading the rest of my outstanding images without paying a cancellation fee. But why would I continue paying for something I have already paid for? It just does not make sense. I insisted on cancelling my subscription and that Adobe waive of my cancellation fees since I was promised that I would be able to do so. Long story short, I was about to consider dropping off all my other Adobe subscriptions if I am not able to cancel Adobe Stock subscriptions. Unwillingly, the agent helped me to cancel my subscription and waived off my cancellation fee and ended the conversation immediately once it is processed. So if you are considering subscribing to Adobe Stock, please KNOW THAT this is a never ending scam to trick you into a lifetime commitment when you sign up for this product. My dear friends, please do not pay the cancellation fees. If you are unable to negotiable for a free cancellation (as per promised by them) JUST CANCEL YOUR EXISTING CREDIT CARD AND GET A NEW ONE ISSUED. TO ADOBE: PLEASE CHANGE YOUR POLICIES I would think that it make more sense to pay a package with x amount of download and with no time limit. Great products but a huge disappointing experience that can scar your purchasing experience with Adobe. I am really disappointed and will be more cautious whenever I sign up for an adobe product. Adobe has clearly lost my trust and I will consider switching to other companies that will not resort to this sort of sales gimmicks.
