Stilt is a godsend for international students. I am now on the third loan with them and the only minor critique would be that it would be nice if past payment and history with them be given more weights in the future applications.

When I took a small loan from them, I liked the overall experience. Because of that, I signed up for their bank account so that I would be able to send money back home in India. But the experience turned out to be really bad. I deposited some money and I wanted to transfer it away into another bank account. I put a request on 22nd April and it is 28th April today. Neither have I received the money nor do I have any reference number to track the transfer status. I contacted them via chat and here is the help I received: Me 12:01 pm: “I did a $xyz transfer out on April 22nd. The transaction is not yet processed. Please look into it” Automated response: “The team will be back In 1 hour” Jen from Stilt 4:26 pm: “Hi, Thanks for reaching out Stilt. How can I help?” Automated response 6:10 pm: “Thanks for chatting with us. Please feel free to connect here again if you have further queries.” —— chat ended —— This is a very bad customer experience and Stilt should work on improving it asap.

Stilt processing was amazing. They were very quick to process the application, review them and approve. As long as your documents are right they have got your back. All their processing and transactions are online. One of the best companies out in the market if you are looking for some financial help without any hassle.
