Beginning my fifth stressing week into the background check. Very narrow means of verification allowed: email contacts, but just corporative addresses allowed, if not, they don't even bother to call by phone; then they will ask for payslips and payslips only. If you don't have them for any number of reasons they will email your future employer that they could not verify your employment. For education, they do not admit transcript of records. Slow, zero case to case verification paths. Very inattentive customer service.

Sterling SUCKS. THIS IS A INVESTIGATIVE COMPANY BUT THEY CANT SEEM TO VERIFY NOTHING WITHPUT THE PERSON THEY ARE INVESTIGATING PROVIDING THEM WITH ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO INVESTIGATE U AND PROOVE EVERYTHING YOURSELF. THESE PPL ASKED ME TO SEND THEM MY W2S TO VERIFY A JOB OF MINE. WHAT IS COMPANIES PAYING THEM FOR IF I HAVE TO SEND DOCUMENTS TO THEM. IM DOING THOER JOB FOR THEM YET THEY ARE MAKING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM COMPANIES. I DAMN NEAR DONT EVEN WANT THE JOB ANYMORE. IF THEY TELL ME I HAVE TO SEND IN ANYTHING EKSE TO STERLING I WILL REFUSE AND JUST FIND ANOTHER JOB. THIS COMPANY HAS MADE MY HIRING PROCESS A LIVING HELL AND NIGHTMARE.

The communication is beyond any other service accessible. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful, even when things are confusing and overwhelming. Even though the process of the background has taken days almost a week of needing something from me to complete the form. Every day something else. Which is another day I wait for employment. Other than waiting around the process has been very professional and informative

I called to first make sure I was taking the proper steps for submitting documentation and then a follow up call to make sure that the documents were received. Both representatives were courteous, patient and diligent. I always left the conversations feeling my problems were resolved and I valued their help.
