One sensor seemed to give fairly accurate readings, but didn’t even last a week before coming off. Stelo did send a replacement. The next sensor gave wildly inaccurate readings. Random spikes of 50mg/dl or more (in fasted state) the readings were very inconsistent with what I know my bg to be and with the previous sensor. The first one was helpful to see trends, the second completely unreliable. I have one more in my pack… tbd. Overall I would not recommend paying for this product.

I understand why the negative reviews...
Had been getting CGM's directly from Stelo and using the Stelo app for about 6 months, but their app is rudimentary and doesn't track macros. Decided to switch to Levels 3 months ago. They also use the Dexcom Stelo CGM. For some reason my CGM will not pair using the instructions on the Levels app, and I have to use the Stelo app. So now I have to have the Levels app, the Dexcom app, AND the Stelo app just to use a CGM. And in these 3 months I've had 2 devices fail to deploy the sensor, and 1 sensor fail a week early. So far I've had the CGM's replaced quickly, but I'm not terribly impressed for $107 per month

Received defective sensors and tried initiating a return. Was told by the chatbot that “malfunctioning sensors are not refundable.” After three attempts to escalate, I gave up. It’s like throwing money into a void.

I purchased the biosensor through Oura and received two biosensors. None of the sensors worked, not even a single measurement was made! After getting in touch with stelo's support they've only replaced one biosensor. Overall experience was really bad, a waste of time and money, don't recommend this as a reliable tool

Product works but customer service fails
I found the product worked well (overall) for me. HOWEVER customer service is extremely lacking. You cannot talk to a human if you’re using the Stelo product. The stelo bot will provide the DEXCOM customer service phone number however, when you call it, they will say they can’t advise on anything with Stelo. You have to use the bot. If you ask for a human, they do not directly answer questions. I had a sensor filament break/not come out when I removed the sensor. I wanted to know of the medical concerns and they would disconnect the chat. I tried three times. Epic fail.

Bad experience
I’m warning others about Stelo after experiencing both defective products and the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered.
The sensors are horrible - completely inaccurate readings and constant adhesive problems. I had to request three replacements because they kept falling off and wouldn’t stick properly. Despite multiple replacements, the product remained unusable.
My subscription ended August 31st (a weekend), but Stelo doesn’t allow weekend cancellations. I was automatically charged $252 for three more months of sensors that don’t work. When I contacted customer service explaining both the defective sensors and weekend cancellation issue, the agent ignored everything and just copy-pasted scripts. No matter what I said about multiple product failures, I got generic policy responses instead of actual help.
They refused any refund despite sending me multiple defective sensors, citing “no refunds, period.” I’m now stuck paying $252 for three months of a service that doesn’t function.
This is completely different from my previous provider, Lingo, where customer service actually listened and solved problems instead of reading scripts.
Between sensors that won’t stay attached, inaccurate readings, weekend cancellation blackouts, and customer service that ignores product defects, Stelo clearly doesn’t care about delivering working products or supporting customers.
Save your money - choose a provider that makes products that actually work and provides real customer support when issues arise. Stelo does neither.

When They Work, They're Great
When they work, they're great. I have been using them for about 7 months and have observed an increasing fail rate. Either they lose connection temporarily, permanently, or session ends early now about 50% of the time for me. The last three meters stopped working 4 days in, 8 days in and 5 days in respectively. To Dexcom's credit, they have replaced all but one of the failed meters. At this point, though I love Stelo when they work, I think I am going to try Lingo. Today's failed meter has me considering completely parting ways with this product.

A little disappointed
At first I thought it would be great to be able to manage my blood sugar and learn about what makes my blood sugar spike. However, the sensors cost $50 each which are suppose to last 15 days. I’ve been using the sensors for 4 months and several times the sensors stopped working early at around 7-8 days. It is very disappointing that I trusted these to help with my blood sugar and spent a good amount on them and they failed to work properly.
