Giving you control over your sexual health is one of the most important things we can do. That is why we've eliminated the embarrassment and hassle of conventional STD testing. We give you access to the same FDA-approved testing used by doctors and hospitals. Once you place your order, you can visit any of our nationwide testing centers without an appointment, even the same day of your purchase. Your results are delivered to you and no one else - nothing is reported to your insurance or placed on your medical records. More importantly, we provide guidance and support every step of the way, no matter what your results are.

The actual STD test and results were good but DO NOT schedule a consultation through them for medication afterwards.
They told me they would call at a certain time then called 30 minutes before that and refused to give me a refund when I didn’t answer their call. They said they have a two hour window to call for your consultation. Absolutely bogus

Okay but . . .
Cost: Okay for US conditions.
Lab: They outsource to Quest or LabCorp, so rating the lab is irrelevant.
Speed: Horrible! Syphilis test took 4 days. HIV RNA test took 15 days, and since results were collected and reported on a Sunday, you know they work 7 days a week. Now maybe COVID has caused a backlog, but it would be nice if the website gave honest estimates of the time lapse between test and results.

"Same Day Testing" is very misleading...
They make it very easy to sign up, pay, go to a lab and give samples. However, their advertising is VERY deceptive. They say "Same Day Testing" all over the Internet, but then say "results within 24-48 hours."
What they mean is that if you sign up, you can drop off samples the SAME DAY as you signed up. But giving blood and urine is NOT the same thing as "testing." The testing is done in a lab (not by stdcheck.com, they are just the middle man) and then results are reported back to stdcheck.com so they can give them to the patient. I have used their service 5 times now, and I have NEVER gotten results back within 24 hours. The earliest I've gotten results was about 40 hours and sometimes it's much more. In particular, their "24-48 hours" exclude weekends/holidays, so if you give sample on a Thursday before a 3-day weekend, don't expect results for 5 days. Yep, 5 days for their "SAME DAY TESTING" service.
They do provide an "expedite" option for another $49 but it's not prominently advertised by them and I've never tried it. This option purportedly gets you results within 24 hours (again I'm sure this excludes weekends/holidays).
The above is the only complaint I have with the service. Everything else is well-done: the website is well-designed and easy to use, and results are easy to find once they are posted.

Writing this in hopes that this helps…
Writing this in hopes that this helps out anyone seeking testing.
First of all, there are a number of facts on their website that simply aren’t true. It’s bordering false advertisement and they all should be corrected immediately.
1.) It will likely take longer than 5 minutes for the bloodwork to be done. In NYC, it ranges from 20 minutes to 2 hours. I’ve had testing around 6 times during the past couple of years, and it varies each time. It’s never been 5 minutes. Ever.
2.) Results NORMALLY take longer than “1 to 2 business days.” It all depends on your test though. If you have a 10 test panel, expect at least 4 days. I recently had testing again on a Tuesday and got the final results on a Friday. I had to call multiple times to even receive partial results. Otherwise, I would’ve received everything on a Friday. If I had ordered two tests, then I likely would’ve received the results on Wednesday (which is rare, but has happened). If you’re in a hurry for results, go early in the morning on a Monday, but don’t expect anything until Wednesday at the minimum.
3.) Customer Service can see your results, so it’s not as private as you think. The last time I called, someone voluntarily read everything to me, which was a huge surprise. Even though all my results were negative, I felt like my confidentially had been violated. Think about it – your full name, date of birth, etc. are all accessible.
4.) You do not need to use your real name/DOB. I use my full name to show my partners, but it’s not necessary if you’re seeking full anonymity. The lab SHOULD simply take your printed form, take your blood work, ask if your name/DOB is correct, and that’s it. If you really want to be anonymous, pay on the STDCheck.com website with a pre-paid debit card as well. Please use this advice for good intentions and not evil.

Easy process but not accurate about result time
The online ordering process is very simple and my experiences at the lab have always been good to great. My issue is that the results have never come back in 1-2 days for me. I've used this site about 4 times now and have always had to wait at least three days to get my results. Even the HIV RNA test, which does say that it can take an additional 1-2 days, I had to wait five days for. That causes a lot more stress and anxiety than necessary and is misleading.
