Received a test from my general physician and didn't need this one done. FPK Services (the servicing company for STDcheck.com) refused to give me my money back for services not rendered when it clearly stated on my order refunds were subject to a 20% restocking fee. I received $0 back. Bad business practices! Says a lot about the folks running this company.

Everything went great untill i got my tests , when i receive the e-mail with my blood work that i have HSV 1 i received a second e-mail that we can offer you treatment for 95$ and a specialist will call u in the next 24h , so they called me and says that is very common and 1 of 4 people has it and is no treatment , so i called stdcheck and and ask for refund and they said NO regarding that i explain her that it was no treatment and they new from begin that is no treatment ... PS: Is a F... bulshit with treatment if u have HSV 1 or 2 don't pay 95$ for the treatment like me ;) just eat healthy ;)

There are a lot of positive reviews online for STDcheck.com and I'm not surprised. If all your results come back negative, then you will certainly be happy. The problem with this service is when you receive a POSITIVE result. STDcheck.com claims you get a "free doctor consultation" if you get a positive result for anything. However, what they don't tell you is that they will charge $65 if you want the doctor to actually write a prescription for you. There also isn't really any consultation. All you get is an automated email that tells you your prescription is ready. There isn't even a doctor you can speak to. With an STD that's easily treatable like Chlamydia, any doctor will write an additional prescription for your partner at no additional charge. STDcheck will ask you to cough up ANOTHER $100 in addition to the testing fees you already paid and the $65 for your own treatment. Then there is the wait time. I was supposed to get treatment within 24-48 hours but I never got a response from them. It's disgusting to make people wait over a week for simple antibiotics after testing positive for an STD that's easily curable if dealt with right away. I finally got fed up with waiting and called to cancel my treatment and went to see an actual doctor who treated me right away. However, I never got my refund! Even though they promised a refund initially, they actually never processed it and after the 3rd call they told me they would NOT be issuing a refund. I had filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and had to contact my credit card company to finally get my money back. A lot of people are uncomfortable talking to their doctor about STD testing so they use a service like this that feels more anonymous. But in the end if you get a positive result, you will need to go see a real doctor anyway because this service is completely useless in that regard. Go to any clinic and see a REAL doctor who can diagnose you and also provide treatment right away if any of your results are positive. It will also ultimately cost you less money.

Terrible! Surprised me with an additional "$100 compliance" charge and took over 7 weeks and 10 calls to customer service to get my results. They lost my initial blood test (10 vials). Took 4 weeks to confess they lost it, told me to go down the lab and talk to them (they wouldn't call the lab), and promised a refund and that they would send my results if they ever showed up. The lab apologized for them and took 10 more vials of blood. Two weeks later still no results. Called customer service several time and was told there were no results. Found out they didn't refund me the full amount, so I called the next day to ask for a full refund, and then they magically found my results (had it for almost two full weeks, just never told me). End result, over 20 vials of blood, over 50 days waiting for results, over 10 calls to customer service. I never received any apology for the problems, and ended up paying the full amount. They also won't let me fill out their customer survey (sent me a broken email link) At least the results were negative,so I'm happy about that.

They told me I didn't have to give my address and phone number, but after I paid I HAD to provide those or pay a cancellation fee to go somewhere else.

My urine test came back negative even as I had symptoms! I went to a doctor to get retested and sure enough the test was positive. How could this be? The only explanation I can think of is the test this company uses is faulty. I called to inquire how I could have the symptoms tested for and yet the test was negative. They were evasive in answering and tried to make it seem as if I was at fault Don't trust this company. The last thing you want to do is have a false sense of security and still able to infect someone.
