Horrible quality nail polish that's way too expensive!!! Didn't last 4 days and went on so thick it was like a chalk paint. As well as horrible customer service that won't respond. Don't waste your time or money.

Hi Dezirae,
I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I do see that the customer service team responded to each of your emails on time and provided great tips. I do hope you went on to try different colors in your collection and found them to work much better for your preference. While we are known for ulta smooth, high-watt shine, glassy finishes, the color you tried was a very white-based color. All white-based colors no matter the brand will appear to go on differently than say a red or a pink due to their pigments, however, they will still end up super smooth and shiny looking after the second coat like any other color.
The trick to applying white-based colors (colors that are almost white in color) is to apply a very thin 1st coat. Wait a few minutes to ensure it is dry and then apply a generous second coat, which will end up looking super smooth, full coverage, and glossy. Hope this helps!

I bought a nail polish from Static…
I bought a nail polish from Static Nails because obviously the colors are really gorgeous and trendy at the moment. I also bought the top coat. However, the nail polish takes quite a bit to dry and even when "dry" (even an hour later) is prone to smudging and looks awful the next day. I honestly wouldn't not put in the money for this again.

FAKE GEL POLISH DO NOT BUY
They sell the cheapest regular nail polish they could get their hands on, and try to pass it off as expensive gel polish. IT IS NOT REAL GEL POLISH.
they don't accept return or do refunds so after the product arrives and you paint your nails and find our after 2 days that the polish chips off, they will tell you they don't accept returns or do refunds. Bait and switch and false advertising.

Hi Maria,
I'm sorry to hear you did not like our formula. Please note we have never claimed that our Liquid Glass Lacquer is a gel formula, as that is untrue. Additionally, none of our advertisements or product descriptions contain false information. Our policies are very clear and can be read anytime on staticnails.com. However, we are always happy to work with our customers directly to help improve their experience through email at [email protected].
In reviewing your emails, you did not try to work with our agents to get a better experience or help us reach a solution for you, instead, you aggressively name-called and made false slanders. We have a 0 tolerance policy when it comes to mistreatment of our agents. Our agents are held to an even higher standard when it comes to how they treat our customers.
Static Nails prides itself on using only the highest quality ingredients. This can be seen by comparing our ingredients to other brands and doing research on each ingredient. Our formulas are also cleaner, safer, and toxin-free, unlike many others. On average we spend 2-5 years developing and testing each custom formula before bringing it to market to ensure it outperforms the rest. This is unique to Static. We are happy to report that in a study 100% of participants voted that Static Nails lasted 3x longer than other leading nail polish brands.
We are anything but short of glowing reviews. Nearly all customers report getting 8-14 days without chips when it comes to our Liquid Glass Lacquer, which is very impressive for a toxin-free, clean nail polish type formula.
However, while we are very proud of our lacquer formula, we understand not everyone may share the same experience, which is why we are again happy to work with our customers to help make things right. If you would like to work with someone on our team to get a better experience please email [email protected] requesting a supervisor and they will be happy to assist you.

Damaged my nails so badly
Damaged my nails so badly. Used to be strong and they are thin, brittle and breaking below the quick. The don't "pop" off. one might, or two or three randomly but then you are left with 7 nails and three weak nails that catch on everything and break below the nail bed. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Before COVID I got a no chip mani every two weeks for 6 years straight and never had any damage. HORRIFIC experience. I applied a second set (stupid) because my nails were embarassingly terrible after the first set "popped" off, which is crap. My nails are now so thin and brittle I can't even apply a clear coat without stinging. Lies and influencer/affiliate media lead you to believe these are the best thing ever. NOPE. Wish I'd read this site before trying. Completely ruined my nails, two are cut down to the middle of the nailbed and all of them sting in the shower. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I followed your instructions to the letter. I let one nail "pop" off at a time, looking ridiculous with 4 or 5 nails that took longer to "pop". I bought your glue, your remover. My nails will take months to recover and I have to wear band aids over three fingers because even though they "fell" off randomly they thinned my nails so badly they tear. Incredible scam protected by a social media team determined to get the benefits out there, but not the truth or reviews from actual people who GAVE YOU MONEY.

Peeling nails, Bubbling manicures, Bad customer service, No Guarantees
I tried static nail polish. At first I noticed my nails would bubble upon applying the second coat, making the manicure look cheap. Then I noticed that by the next day after sleeping on them my nails would be imprinted as though I pressed them against fabric while wet, leaving my nails looking matte and bad. I kept taking off the polish and trying different methods of applying - dehydrating nails, waiting an hour between coats to apply, etc. None of it worked, and if I left the polish on longer than two days, my nails started peeling off in chunks.
I emailed static nails and followed their advice. They then told me I had to purchase their primer and lacquer in order to get the products to work. I asked if they could garuntee that the products would work, and refund me for the lacquer if it still didn't work. They told me they don't do "behind-the-scenes" negotiations and directed me to their "no refunds" policy. I see many other negative reviews, which leads me to believe they cannot and will not stand behind the effectiveness of their product, which is supposed to last 14 days, yet damaged my nails in 2.
I also received no reply to my Instagram negative review which leads me to believe it was removed since Static replies to all negative reviews.

Hi Lauren,
Happy to help with this, all of the above are easy fixes. Firstly, to avoid fabric lines while sleeping simply ensure your polish has had enough time to dry before going to bed. Our lacquer only takes about 10-15 minutes to dry.
Bubbles in polish are caused by shaking. Simply roll the bottle back and forth between your hands in different directions, tap the butt of the bottle a few times to push the air bubbles to the top, then let it sit for at least 20 minutes or more to reset it and it will be bubble-free.
Regarding your other comments, you asked customer service for additional special discounts and accommodations for you to consider trying our product with primer and top coat. While we are super thrilled and honored that you tried one of our colors it does state clearly on every single product page in the product's description and in the instructions that our lacquer colors must be paired with our Primer and Top Coat to get long-lasting results.
Using our product as instructed does make a massive difference in wear time. As much as we would love to ship you product for free or give you extra discounts beyond what we already offer on staticnails.com and through standard promotions, it would not be fair to our other customers that chose to get our primer and top coat with their colors upfront and did not receive these special accommodations you were requesting.
Please note we do offer palettes that include primer, top coat, and 7-8 colors at an incredible value for those that do not want to commit to full-sized bottles at first, but want to try our system, or simply get an array of beautiful colors for a steal.
The same information has been sent to you on every single platform you have commented on. We apologize again that we cannot break policy for you regarding this matter and appreciate your time. We hope you take our feedback and instructions into consideration to get a better experience.

i see your strategy
edit****
will you allow my honest review to be posted on your website? i sent you screenshots so i think we both know i posted it in the “right place.”
i see your strategy, well riddle me this: do you allow negative reviews on your webpage? facebook? that’s it, that’s the only question i want answered from you.
DO NOT ADDRESS MY COMPLAINTS ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS BY TELLING ME I NEED TO LET THEM POP OFF NATURALLY. you are insane. stop repeating the same garbage over and over and over...
doesn’t it get tiresome?
Static Nails is a SCAM. facebook promotes a scam. at this point, i’d pay for facebook if it meant i didn’t have to endure false advertising.
and because my review deserves to live somewhere, here it is:
TITLE: too good to be true -
pretty but painful
so... i was so excited to try these "pop on" nails (designed and created by a young female entrepreneur). but i have to say my experience was pretty unpleasant:
1) they do not "pop off":
i applied two sets over the course of a month, my first time using less glue, and my second applying the glue much more generously. both times the nails starting to lift on the sides while still remaining firmly attached in the middle; as the nails start to lift off -> obvious air gaps created -> leading to possible fungus -- i removed the first set on day 3. the second time (after the more liberal glue application), they again started to lift on the edges on day 7, so i soaked ... and soaked... and soaked. but eventually just practically ripped them off. ouch.
2) they are not "reusable":
after removing my first set, there was still glue all over the back of the fake nail, a thin layer on my nail, and a gross bit up near where my real nail ends and the fake nail extends. as i mentioned, I COULD NOT WAIT FOR THEM TO NATURALLY POP OFF, as they had already starting lifting off on the edges. i also soaked the fake nails in hot water for hours after removal in the hopes of removing some of the yucky residue and possibly, maybe getting a second use out of them. nothing. glue still rock hard and the nails coated with ridges of glue. also, the middle finger pop on cracked at the tip before i even removed it, so i definitely can't wear that set again.
3) they will leave your nails damaged:
after removing the second set (where i had applied much more glue in the hopes of them lasting longer than 3 days), my real nails were so raw they were tender and red. the middle of my thumbnail cracked :( and all my other nails were pretty weak and will probably take about 3 months to fully grow and recover. it's pretty near impossible to not get glue on your finger (scary), on the surface of the nail (sad because it ruins the perfect surface), and in a weird way meshing the tip of the fake nail to your skin behind your nail. after both applications i had to try and use warm water to re separate the space behind my nail from the skin. really terrifying feeling of not being able to feel behind your nail.
i've bought three sets in total, used two, and i'm honestly not quite sure that i'll ever use the third after these dissapointing and traumatic experiences.
nice try, but some things are too good to be true.
p.s. i had written most of this in an informative comment on one of their Facebook instagram ads... where it was subsequently deleted. bummer that the company doesn't value transparency...
p.p.s. i'm a 24 y/o college student who's not particularly "hard" on her hands...

Hi Dana,
As discussed with you previously on other platforms customers are welcome to leave reviews on our products and their experiences regardless if they are negative or positive. We take customer feedback very seriously and reviews are how we improve. We do not allow spamming of any kind, solicitation of 3rd party products, or false/inaccurate information to be posted. The comments you made did not contain information of your experience OR of our products but instead were posts harassing customers in efforts to persuade the public and our fans that our company was a “Scam,” which is a very serious, false allegation and why your comments were removed. Millions of people wear our products each month without issues, and have for almost a decade. Our company and products are anything but a scam.
However, a customer service agent messaged you immediately after removing your comments to let you know they were removed and why, encouraging you to leave comments/reviews that contained information about your experience with our products that would actually be helpful to us, our customers, and you so we can know whats going on and assist.
You stated that you “ripped” off the nails despite them being firmly attached to your own, which would be considered force removal. Per our instructions, the nails should never ever be forced off. There are safe, appropriate ways to remove the nails without damage. The glue used to apply the nails bonds like acrylic but dissolves as you wear them. As long as you do not forcibly remove the nails there will not be any damage. You can wear them a few weeks or a few days at a time depending on how much glue is applied. How to control your wear time, application, and removal instructions can be found on each product’s page at staticnails.com.
We also offer an odorless, non-toxic remover (as you know) that doubles as a pop-on nail remover by gently, but effectively dissolving the glue upon impact, allowing customers to safely remove the nails whenever they want, no matter how much glue is on their nails or how long they have been wearing the nails. This is a great way to remove them safely if someone doesn't want to wait for the nails to be removed based on how much glue they applied for their initial desired wear time.
We have customer service agents available 24/7 via [email protected] that can help answer any questions or concerns in a timely manner should you need assistance with our products in the future.
