Fraudulent charges
State Filings charged me THREE times (totaling roughly $500 in charges) by telling me that my credit card was declined. This was during LLC formation, and it was time sensitive. Someone named Christina sent me on a goose chase and finally told me that they weren't going to process my forms because I disputed two of the transactions with the bank. One of the $199 charges is still on my credit card, and it was a repeat charge for services not rendered.

Hello Yuri, We appreciate your feedback and want to clarify the charges associated with your LLC formation. Without an order ID, we can’t review the specifics of your case, but we can explain how our billing works. If you were charged three times, these charges were likely for: Our Processing Fees – Covers the preparation and submission of your LLC filing. State Filing Fees – Every LLC must pay a mandatory fee to the state, which we collect and submit on your behalf. Without this, we cannot legally file your LLC. Registered Agent Fees – When forming an LLC, most states require a registered agent. At checkout, you agreed to use our registered agent service, which ensures your business remains compliant with state regulations. (You have the option to be your opt out of this) All of these fees are clearly displayed on the checkout page before payment is made. Our agents are here to assist and explain charges, not to cause frustration. If you had reached out about canceling, we could have reviewed refund options. However, when multiple charges are disputed with the bank, we are unable to provide further support, as the disputes block our ability to process your order. This is why we strongly encourage customers to speak with their account manager before initiating disputes. We apologize for any confusion and are happy to assist further. Please reach out to us directly if you have any questions. Thank you State Filings Management Team
