Just gonna be honest here. I looked at several different options for filing for an LLC, I had put my payment info in for SF but decided it was waaaay too high so didn’t submit it, next thing I know my bank acct was hit for exorbitant fees and I’d like to know exactly what I’ll be getting for the great expense. Filing thru the state myself would have only been about $150.00

State Filings need to clarify that the expediting fee is for submission of the application within 24 hours as oppose to the approval of the LLC. Otherwise, Bri, Account Manager, was prompt and courteous. Thanks to Bri guidance I was able obtain my LLC within a week.

It is sad that one has to negotiate the name of the business exists already for years with the Tax Board in California. Doesn't look good that names do not align. But, what can you do. Spent days providing my own "options".

I called State Filings because of issues with being charged for multiple services I did not want. I authorized a charge of $160 and got charged over $400. Eric handled my issue and it seemed okay. I called him the next day because I had to make an amendment to my LLC myself (because it would have cost more money for them to fix their mistake). My account was not authorized on the corporate commission site so I couldn’t amend my LLC. I was understandably frustrated. I still kept my cool. It was later very easily handled by the corporate commission (after I called them) but the reason why I am giving this business 1 star is the way Eric talked to me about this problem. He was not able to handle my frustration appropriately. He was very aggressive and cruel. I was taken back and became scared. I was in such shock that I was being talked to that way that I could hardly put together a sentence. I admit I started crying. Customers, please don’t subject yourself to this inhumane and unprofessional treatment. File your LLC with the corporate commission yourself. If that intimidates you. Use Tailor Brands. They have superb customer service (with no anger issues) and they do not charge for services you did not request. I pray for Eric and that he treats people better in the future. Update: I very much appreciate how the above incident was handled. Thank you for reaching out and doing everything State Filings did to make the situation right. I believe that Emily, who has been in touch with me, is the true representation of this company. Very kind and professional. Thanks again!
