Hi Mira, We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience, but we’d like to clarify a few important points: First, we are not a government agency, nor do we claim to be. Our website is not a .gov domain — only official state websites use those. We are a private third-party service that assists individuals in forming their LLCs through a streamlined, guided process, which many customers prefer over handling it themselves. At the bottom of our form, our client agreement clearly states that we are a 3rd party, you are required to read this before submitting. Our base price is $149, which covers our processing and support. It is clearly stated during checkout that this does not include the state filing fee, which varies by state and is displayed based on the state you select. In your case, you also opted into several optional add-ons such as rush processing, EIN application, certified copies, and an operating agreement. These are offered during the process with clear pricing listed on each respective page before you choose to add them. We encourage customers to read each step carefully during the ordering process to ensure they fully understand what they’re selecting. If you're dissatisfied, we urge you to contact your dedicated account manager so we can assist you directly. Leaving a public review with incorrect assumptions doesn't allow us the opportunity to help and can mislead others. We’re here to support you — please reach out anytime. Best regards, - State Filings Management Team

Hello Jennifer, We understand the concern — there are indeed misleading services out there, but to be clear, we are not one of them. We are a private third-party filing service, and we never claim to be affiliated with any government agency. Our site and process are designed for customers who want a simplified and guided experience, rather than navigating state systems on their own. While filing directly with the state is certainly an option, many customers choose our service for convenience, clarity, and support — especially in states where the process can be tedious or confusing. Our pricing is fully transparent throughout the order process. Additionally, our client agreement, located at the bottom of the order form, clearly states that we act as a third-party designee — written in plain, easy-to-understand language. If you’re dissatisfied with your experience, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your dedicated account manager so we can assist you directly. - State Filings Management Team

Hi Devan, We want to clarify a few important facts here; You cannot register an LLC through IRS.gov — the IRS only handles federal tax ID numbers (EINs). LLC formation must be done through the Secretary of State in your chosen state, which is exactly what our service facilitates on your behalf. Our website clearly explains that we are a third-party filing service, and we provide transparent pricing that includes both state fees and our processing fee. Many customers use our service specifically because of how confusing and fragmented the process can be across different states. We understand that some may prefer to file on their own, and that’s totally okay — but our goal is to offer convenience, speed, and guidance to those who prefer to have professionals handle the paperwork. We appreciate your feedback, however we would suggest providing accurate facts when providing feedback. - State Filings Management Team
