I'm helping a friend register his business (I'm paying the registration fees), and we accidentally used this site. The site looks very governmental and official, but I found out later is *not* actually an official government site. Once we got through filling out the registration forms with the business info, we got to the payment section and it had a big button that quoted a $199 price for registering an LLC. We submitted our credit card details and a confirmation page was shown. Despite there being no invoice or receipt email sent, the company then made three charges totaling $707 on my credit card ($99, $193, and $415). Googled the site name and found lots of reports of the site being a scam and overcharging for the services. Called the company attempting to cancel the order and get the charges refunded, and was told I will be contacted by the account manager in about 24 hours. Will update review with result. Update: I was able to get all the charges refunded by calling the company up (found their phone number on their website).

I had an issue with me state filing paperwork and IRS paperwork not matching with PLLC on one and LLC on another. This caused issues with insurance companies. A quick email to Emily and within minutes my issue was resolved and should make the rest of my process much smoother. I am amazed at how quick and helpful Emily is to work with and appreciate her efforts so much!

I loved my agent Bri . She was able to help me with a lot of my questions and concerns. Everything took about a week and she would sent me very notification I received. Thankfully

Was misled by their pricing was charged way more than expected. They are a third-party vendor and not a government agency. I would absolutely look into differently alternatives. Don’t believe there reviews . Definitely a cash grab by this company. They don’t respond to emails and it almost impossible to get anyone on the phone

Misleading. The website looked like an official State site, but in actuality was an 3rd party vendor. Added charges to my credit card that I did not authorize. Changed Registered Agent that was entered on the application to one of their own choice and charged $199 that I did not authorize. I have since tried to call State Filings and the phone number is no longer in service. Be careful with this website because it is not what it appears to be. After reading your response I have an update. I have tried to contact the agent several times, but his phone number is no longer in service.. So I looked up the company phone number on line, which is listed as 800 299-1227, and when called, that phone number also says no longer in service. I would like to resolve the issue with you but at this point I have tried and cannot get in contact with State Filings. I stand by my review. If you truly are a legitimate company please contact your agent, Marc and have him call me. He has my phone number.

I started my new business and had paid what was needed through the state filings portal. Then within a week I received letters saying I needed to pay for additional fees. I was uneasy about it and ended up speaking with ERIC TERCERO who informed me that they were in fact solicited letters(unaffiliated) which now makes sense. If anyone is ever unsure you should always check your inbox through the state filings portal to see if they match what’s in the mail(paper). Thank you Eric for your excellent service, I feel way better, he is the real deal!!
