Read the fine print!
Read the fine print!! I signed up with Slice for card processing after a sales rep visited my business. I was told there was no contract and could cancel at any time. Fast forward a year down the road and I wanted to cancel after switching to a company with better rates, and i was hit with a cancelation fee and equipment charge contract for 2 years if I didn't use the processing!! I reached out to the rep that had sold me on Slice, to find out he had left the company for the exact reason that I had a complaint. They were hiding details that even the sales reps weren't aware of, and tieing people into equipment contracts. In their defense I did sign it... they very happily pointed that out when I tried to cancel and complained. I did not read everything closely enough and trusted my rep that signed me up. He gave me the number to his old boss, and he told me to pack sand. Im now a year and a half into paying for a machine i don't even have anymore.... I'll end up paying over $1500 for a machine that costs $260 to buy new, after processing over $700,000 with them at 3.381%.... Just beware and read every line through all their paperwork.
